Ok, so we more or less decide on our own room mates. So, I'm starting this thread to find one. Anyone who is interested, drop me a line.

Others who are looking for room mates can use this thread to do so. Or not. Whatever.

Needs a roomie as well, though, KTar is used to having his own quarters and wouldnt be fond of sharing them with someone else. Might make for an interesting story. :)

Why would K'tar be used to private quarters?

On a small Klingon ship, only the CO gets them. I established long ago on the meH'Haj that the CO, XO, CEO and other heads have private quarters because their office is their room. But that is reserved for the largest ships.

Most of the Klingons should feel odd only have one roomie, if your not a CO.

K'Tar had no roomie this time around - we were on the Solar bounty - and as weHwI' commander he had the privilige to be alone - other officers were less priviliged.

he is on Ta'pez good side - so he got the perk.

She is ''running late'. She isn't competing because simm demands and RL demands mean she can't be here in time. but she plans to show up before the end of the event. so IM here and see if you can be roomies, but she just gets there late, unless you want a roomie now!

Seems I lost my Roomie who was Ness. Not sure if you want to Bunk with M'Rek K'Tar but if anyone else wants to by the Big Hirogen/Klingon's Roomie let me know. Just make sure to stay away from him if ever see him asleep lol.

I have no idea if K'rahl is showing up or not. I saw that he posted on the BF forum this morning but I have not spoken with him in several weeks, so I do not know his plans.

Q'ol is not here yet, since some plot stuff with K'Hare (who by the way has been keeping this whole Romulan thing a secret from even me for the entire time I've known him and he almost gave me a HEARTATTACK when I read that he has Romulan blood!!) needs for her to show up late, probably barely in time to compete in her first match (the gimme one) I have no clue who i'll be sleeping with.. er.. bunking with.. er.. roomies with!

I still think my hammock in K'Hare's quarters where the best barrel is idea works.

Tell me about it, I'm still in denial! :D Actually seriously one of the reasons I kept Aklev out of the meH'Haj dinner thread was because I wanted him in the dark about anything that might be happening there, but I was not expecting anything this big! Heh, will see how it plays out.

Posting in this thread has reminded me Aklev doesn't have a roomie yet. Anybody?

Well... I can honestly say he already topped it in the stuff he sent me for what the last part of the thing is. I am once again in shock and writing furiously to try and get it all somehow done so either he or I can get it all posted by the end of tomorrow..

I am in such total shock I'd like to just sit and stare into space for a while. The clues were there.. but I didn't put them together.

Anyway.. last year I had him preread some of my stuff and for one thing he said something like "Wow, that was really good, I didn't expect that."

That was the highest praise I ever hoped for from anyone. :) I am still trying to get back to that point in my writing.. I think this tourney will inspire me once I get out from under all this massive catch up I have to do.

I'm sure K'Hare already has his next big shocker in his brain. We just have to wait for the layers to begin peeling off.

.....it turns out that our K'hare is not actually 'our' K'hare, and that the evil K'hare is actually 'ours' in a sense, but at the same time wants to kill us all??

No, you see, K'Hare was a pureblooded Klingon until he ran into the so-called vulcan who's been training him. It turns out that the "vulcan" is actually a rogue Q who decided that K'Hare needed to be punished for being a bigot. So the Q rewrote the fabric of existence so that K'Hare would be exatly 1/5 Romulan (see the infamous Humpback Whales (http://www.batlh.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=OOCOtherThread;action=display;num=1106003532) thread for why only a Q could make someone exactly 1/5 of some race).

However, 20 years in the future, K'Hare discovered a means for time travel, and decided to come back to our time in order to prevent the Q from rewriting history and making him into a Romulan hybrid. Unfortunately, when future-K'Hare came back to our time, he misjudged and ended up getting caught by the lizard-things from the old meH'Haj fight. But with the help of future-Ing, they eventually esaped and overpowered the lizards and stole their subspace transporter technology, but were too late to prevent the Q from rewriting existence.

So they set about trying to find more precise information on the whole situation so they could make another leap back in time to try again. And what we're seeing is just their attempts at information-gathering in preparation for that second leap backwards to try and change the course of history so that K'Hare will no longer be... not have been... oh heck, time travel always confuses me over which tense I should use. They're trying to change history back to the way it should have been had the Q not rewritten it, in which K'Hare is pure Klingon.

That's my theory, and if you believe a word of it, I have some nice bottom land in Florida to sell you.

actually, if you look at the stuff Qo'l's posting, im still convinced its something to do with the alternative universe. The clues are there in hte romulan ears the 'false' K'hare had, which is what bugs me.

I mean, if somebody wants to impersonate K'hare, has access to hell of a lot of technology, and yet does not go to the extent of removing them via some sort of cosmetic surgery (which would be readily available to most intel agents, not to mention on a Cardassian vessel as well - I bet those sneaky fools would have incredible use for such tech) despite it supposedly being a simply procedure a good medic or half-way decent doctor could do with heavily advanced technology is in itself extremely suspicious.

If this person intends to impersonate K'hare, and he is so meticulous as to cover his trail cleverly to the extent nobody suspects him, then why take the risk of having romulan ears at all? It's simply not worth it unless its a delibrate tactic to create confusion and to throw someone's suspicions elsewhere......

Also, why do I have the feeling, judging from the 'false' K'hare's actions, that his very nature is, in itself, not biological? Either that, or he has some sort of time augmentation device in that armor, allowing him to stretch a second into infinity?

I could make of them fakes or they are both from ugly futures and they went back and time to manipulate themself in different ways and really, they are both just ta'pez... or K'rahl... or Ing... or ...
