Title: K'Tar vs Ro'tak
Post by KTar on Feb 11th, 2005, 5:29pm

K'Tar's name was announced as was another Klingon warrior named R'otak.  K'Tar stepped into the arena and gaged this opponent as he stepped into the circular ring.  The klingon name R'otak was a young warrior.  Perhaps straight out of the Klingon Academy.  K'Tar sighed.  He knew right away that this...boy would be no match.  K'Tar nodded and grunted in acknowedgement as he saw no fear in the boy's eyes.  K'Tar knew that one day he would make a great warrior...but today was not his day.  K'Tar and Ro'Tak circled each other.  Ro'tak came in with a standard swing.  K'Tar parried the attack and pushed the blade away, easily over powering the younger klingon.  Ro'tak swung again and again as his attacks were blocked.  "Whats the matter? Afraid to attack me?" Ro'tak said as he came around with an overhead attack.

K'Tar snarled as he lifted his Batleth, parring the attack as Ro'tak continued to press down on the attack, futiling hoping to push through K'Tar's block.  K'Tar then smiled.  "If you insist."  In that instant, K'Tar angled his blade as the left tip hooked into just above Ro'tak's hands, holding the blade, slightly cutting them in the process, let Ro'Tak held.  K'Tar used his strength as he puleed the blade towards him, ripping it out of Ro'Tak's hands, causing the warrior to fall forward.  K'Tar in that instant sent Ro'tak's head snapping back with a powerful direct kick to the head, sending the young Klingon sprawling to the deck, dazed.

"Winner, K'Tar Sogh of the House of M'Rok," came the announcement.

K'Tar raised his Bat'leth over his head in triumph and then went over to the young Klingon, offering a hand.

Ro'tak shook his head trying to regain his senses.  He looked at K'Tar and after a moment, accepted his hand as K'Tar pulled Ro'tak to his feet.

"You will make a great warrior someday, Ro'tak.  Keep practicing."

The younger Kling nodded and grinned as blood staind the side of his mouth.  "Thank you, K'Tar, Son of M'Rok."

K'Tar nodded and turned and left the arena, hanging his Bat'leth back ont he wall of honor.
