Jason woke with a slight head ache, he had forgot how much drinking Klingons could do. Rolling over and looking at the clock he realized it was only 5am and is first match wasn't for another 4 hours. So he got up, showered and changed into his training gear.

After a light training session he changed into his competition clothing and reported for his match.

For the first time ever Jason was fighting without the intention of killing anyone. It would be a new experience for him the restraint of no killing another in hand to hand.

Entering the ring he found himself face to chest with a 7 foot tall Klingon.

The huge beast looked down at him and snarled.

"when you have finished holding that weapon and trying to look tough, maybe you could send in a real competitor, you smooth forehead half sized....."

As the klingon went on insulting him he just stood there blinking occasionally and not saying a word.

When the large figure had finally finished he just stood and laughed. Jason yawned then looked up at him.

"The gas from your stomach seems to have come from both ends of your body or maybe that's just because you know your about to be beaten by a human. now i come to think of it, didn't I once see you in battle....hiding under a shuttle crying like a ferengi"

The klingon swung his weapon in rage aiming right at Jason's head Jason leaned backwards almost bending over backwards to avoid the blow. He kicked the klingon in his thigh knocking him a little off balance. Jason then almost jumped backwards and stood in fighting stance, one foot behind the other.

His mood changed his mellow look had gone, he now had full concentration on his opponent. He could feel the palms of his hands tense as he gripped his batletH

Blow after blow was landed by the Klingon, his pure size and strength was almost enough to over power Jason. All Jason could do at first was fend off the blow's

He decided the best way to beat this monster of a Klingon was to wear him down. Ketlh was now favored to win, he was growing tired and the strength was slowly leaving is arms.

Jason decided now was the time to fight back, playing posses had worked so far but now it was time to show his true self.

He started with a swipe to the right, but that was blocked. Then he moved to the left, and again was blocked, so he faked a sweep to the feet, which then left the large target unguarded, so he struck him with the rear of the weapon which winded the Klingon.

The klingon locked batletH's with Jason and then head butted him. Jason stumbled backwards with blood dripping down his face.

Jason then lunged forward with an almost psychopathic rage. handing blow after blow, looking for an opening or weak spot in the klingons defense.

suddenly he found it, and had a matter of seconds to exploit the weakness. The klingon's defense was all from his knee's up. a quick sweeping blow to the klingons lower leg brought him down Jason then again lunged forward making for a killing blow to the Klingons head. He took hold of himself right before he remembered it was a competition. At that moment he pushed the aim off slightly to the side, cutting the klingons already battle scarred face and drawing blood.

Jason then stepped back and waited for the klingon to raise to his feet. As he did the klingon jumped to his feet and swung again at Jason, so in return he managed to get his batletH round the back of the klingons and in doing so sliced towards the klingons hand, as soon as 2 fingers were sliced the klingon had no choice but to release his grip. As he did Jason pulled towards him knocking the weapon out of his oppenents hand.

The klingon stood back clutching his hand, 2 fingers now missing, and bowed his head in defeat.

"Winner, Ja'So of the house of Pir'up Pa" Called one of the judges.

Jason and the klingon now stood face to face again

"It was an honor to face you Human, maybe next time you wont be so lucky"

Jason simply bowed his head a little in respect of the large figure.
