Title: After the Fights Post by gtrell on Feb 11th, 2005, 8:04pm (( Okay this will take place after Ness's NPC bout. )) ON: G'Trell made her way to the Legion not sure what to think of the whole situation that had occurred in the ring. She slumped down at a table and waved for a drink. Ness entered a few minutes later. The bar was crowded, and the only seat was next to G'Trell. Ness sat down, "Greetings" G'Trell glanced at the human next to her. "Greetings" She extended a hand "Names G'Trell." "Ness, Chief Ops, meH'Haj," Ness said, as he shook her hand. He had seen her once on Khitomer during the dinner, but didn't know who she was. "well looks like we are shipmates then" She smiles " I am the new federation marine commander." She took a drink of her beverage. "Ah. I knew there would be some coming aboard," Ness said. : G'Trell smiled "You should try the bIreQtagh its good here" "I don't like Klingon food. I have an appropriated Starfleet replicator on the wa'pach, that is usually on the meH'Haj," Ness replied, "I am going to use the fully human food availabilities while we are on a Starfleet station. Synthohol," Ness ordered from the waiter. G'Trell chuckled "To be honest I miss the hamburgers my foster father use to make on Earth" "Why don't you order one?" Ness asked as he sipped the synthohol the waiter had just brought him. G'Trell smirked " I don’t want to appear weak in front of the others" "No one said a hamburger is food for the weak!" Ness exclaimed, "You know there's a replicator in your quarters. You could get one there." Smiling she leaned back in her chair. "True...That is the way I had my breakfast this morning." "Replicated burgers still aren't as good as the real ones, though," Ness remarked. G'Trell nodded "They will have to do though...So are you competing?" She was already sizing him up. "Yes, I am. I am not very good though," Ness admitted. gtrell69: G'Trell tilted her head to the side a little " At one point none of us were... Perhaps..." She appeared to trail off in thought "Yes?" Ness inquired, now intrigued. G'Trell raised her eyes to his. "Perhaps you would like some pointers." "I would appreciate any help," Ness remarked, "I barely won my first match." G'Trells face lit up and a gleam came to her eyes as she stood "Well then lets see what needs working on shall we." she motioned to the door. Ness got up and followed her to the training area. G'Trell slung her batletH off her shoulder and watched him carefully. Ness got his bat'leth down from the wall of honor. G'Trell took in the way he carried himself and his blade. It seemed to weigh him down. She shook her head. "Your blade is too heavy for you. wait here a moment." G'Trell left the room. 10 mins later she returned with a second blade the same height as his. She handed it to him. She smiled as his arms strained to keep the weapon up. "You will train with this for now." "This is too heavy," Ness complained, "I prefer my blade." G'Trell scowled. "very well then," She dropped into a ready stance "Pick it up and attack me" Ness made a horribly lame attack. The blade was obviously too heavy G'Trell deflected it. "Move faster" Ness, this time with a better grip on the heavier blade, made a better attack. G'Trell smiled as she deflected it. "Better" After about and hour of this G'Trell nodded. He had potential. He had a spark in his eyes and could be great if trained properly. His attacks became more fluid as he executed them time and again. "Now pick up your own blade." Ness put down the heavier blade with a sigh of relief. He picked up his own and almost threw it, because it seemed so light. Ness circled G'Trell, wondering if she'd try to attack him. G'Trell noticed the difference immediately in the way he stood and held his blade. He circled her now with a new fire. She would not disappoint him. She rushed in for the attack. Ness blocked, and in one movement, G'Trell's bat'leth clattered to the floor. G'Trell smiled like a maniac "Truly impressive." She could not help but be amazed. He was so much like her in this account disarming came naturally. She picked up her blade. "Do you remember how you executed that move?" "Ta'pez tried it on me. I guess I sort of, picked it up?" Ness smiled sheepishly. G'Trell nodded and readied her blade" Try it again" G'Trell moved in again this time when he tried to execute the move she reversed it and smiled as his blade flew. "You have skills and you are a profient learner it seems. mind it I show you a few moves that will give you an advantage over stronger challengers?" "Not at all, I could use some new tricks," Ness replied. "first, I want you to mirror my stance" She nodded as he did as told. "Now I want you to do a forward thrust with your blade vertical to the ground." He did so and she did a normal forward thrust horizontal to the ground. "Now speed is the key to this move, if you should ever find your self in this stance with this attack, do a half turn and throw all your weight into it while at the same time lock his blade with yours. No matter how tight a grip they have this will work." Ness did as she asked. She let him follow through once then retrieve her blade. They did this several times until she was sure he had it down then she pulled back with a nod. "Good now we are going to spar. Take a defensive position, this will fool your enemy into believing you are pulling back. But instead of keeping your blade up I want you to keep it lose in your hands and drop it so that it looks like your tired. This will allow you too switch to a offensive stance and meet an attack head on. and half the time it will set you up for the last maneuver I showed you." She gave him a wink. "Shall we?" "OK," Ness replied, winking back. Ness actually looked tired. His eyes looked droopy, his stance was horrible... G'Trell attacked. Ness immediately pulled into a good defensive stance, and blocked her attack. G'Trell attacked again putting more and more power in her blows. Ness blocked again, with a more strained effort. He tried to disarm her again, but couldn't twist the blade out of her hands. He backed off then, still in one fluid motion, attacked again. G'Trell stumbled back a little letting him gain ground. Ness kept forward, attacking again, determined to hold his new found "ground". Her movements seemed to slow and she knew that she needed to rest soon. In one swift motion she spun and knock his blade to the side. Then she planted a foot in his chest. "You are great, and with time you will be better. I have something for you." "What is it?" Ness asked. G'Trell smiled and bid him to follow her. They made their way to the hall of honors where her fighting blade was hung. She reached up and pulled it down handing the green tinted weapon to him in a graceful gesture. It was lighter than even the blade he carried. "I used this my first two years at the tourney. May it's years of skill be passed to you in the giving." She then hung her other blade in its place. " I hope to get anther chance to train with you." She turned back to him and smiled. "You are unique amongst your kind." G'Trell held a hand up as he moved to protest. "I want you to have it. You will serve each other well." "What about you?" Ness asked, "Don't you need a blade?" " that blade is as unique as you, your well suited for each other... As for me." She reaches up and runs a hand lovingly over her training batletH " I can use Storm chaser here." Ness admired his new blade. He could barely feel its weight. If he wasn't looking at it, he might not know it was in his hands. "Thank you, G'Trell," Ness said “You are most welcome. I offer you anther gift and this one is of your own choosing. Let me train you." "I'd prefer your training over K'Vok. I don't think he likes me very much," Ness thought aloud. G'Trell smirked." K'Vok is a fine warrior he will make you strong. But if you prefer I will speak with him and Tapez HoD about reassigning you under my tutelage. I may have you drill with my Marines on occasion, It will be hard and you will come to hate me in many ways" She smiles "But you will become elite." "I would appreciate that," Ness replied. G'Trell nodded "Then I will see what I can do. Remember to train with your old blade and fight with Starblaser. It will improve your speed and agility. Now I must go and rest before the next rounds. Please excuse me." "Good-bye, G'Trell," Ness said " Good day" with that G'Trell left the hall and headed for her quarters. OFF: |
Title: Re: After the Fights Post by gtrell on Feb 12th, 2005, 12:48am K'Tar entered the bar to celebrate his victory. "Give me some Bloodwine!" K'Tar demanded with a toothy grin. The bartender soon gave K'Tar his drink and he turned to look over the patrons of the bar when he spotted the female Klingon that was a Starfleet Marine aboard the MeH'Haj. She looked as if she was depressed. "What is the matter?" K'Tar said, approaching the table. G'Trell peered over her crossed arms at the Male. She recognized him from the dinner the night before. She forced a smile. "Just trying to figure out what I did to make my opponent accuse me of cheating in front of half the Klingons in the quadrant." K'Tar took a sip from his Bloodwine as sat down. "Did you cheat?" G'Trell sat up and stretched her neck a little. "I am not the cheating type, He was just a dolt." K'Tar narrowed his eyes. "Then as long as you know you did not cheat, you should feel just and make the petaq pay for his false accusation." G'Trell chuckled "I believe his father is doing that in my stead." Her eyes shifted to the door where M'Rek had just entered. "M'Rek how are you my friend?" M'Rek arrived in the bar after his dual with the Human. Seeing G'Trell he gave a Klingon grin/snarl at the woman he had taken interest in and then to his Commander. "Sir, the battle run good?" K'Tar nodded. "Indeed. Though a bit of a disappointment. I was set against a young warrior just out of the Academy. He had no experience, but at least his heart was definitely Klingon." M'Rek nodded, "Yes mine was not much for competition either. I had a.... he ran a claw over his own long black hair... blond haired Human. But what he lacked in skill he made up in courage." G'Trell smiled and motioned for M'Rek to have a seat. Then looked back to K'Tar. " I don't believe we have actually meet. I am G'Trell James" She said offering her hand to K'Tar. "I will be in charge of the federation Marines on the meHHaj." "So I have heard. I am K'Tar Sogh, son of M'Rok. WeHwI' CO aboard the meH'Haj." K'Tar wasnt too fond of the idea of Federation Marines being aboard the ship. M'Rek left them only a moment to get him a large tankard of bloodwine and some skull stew which he had this morning but since he had found her could get it even on this base he couldn't refuse it. M'Rek returned with his food and drink and set it down. He wore his injuries made by G'Trell proudly, his uniforn had the arms exposed all the way to the shoulder and unbandaged. M'Rek took place in front of both of them. "The HoD is honorable no matter what them other think. They are fools. He said not realizing he wasn't completely on same subject. G'Trell read the contempt in his voice and smiled. " I was apply in hopes of a possion in the WeHwI'. But it seems the HoD is starting a trail programe and felt I was best suited to handle." She felt a change in subject was in order. "I am glad your bouts have gone well. I say a celebration is in order." She waved for fresh drinks for her and K’Tar. K'Tar merely nodded. "The HoD has some strange ways about him...nevertheless, he is our HoD." K'Tar took a gulp of his Bloodwine. G'Trell took a long pull on her own mug. "I wonder how Tlai did?" She looked around as if searching for the woman. "Too bad she’s not here to share in the victory she disserves it. She has spunk. " G'Trell smiled. At the mention of T'Lai, M'Rek became very silent and started to simply eat his meal. "I have not heard anything about her competing. I have no respect for someone who has not earned their position," K'Tar stated, knowing the position was simply given to her by the HoD G'Trell sat up alittle. " I assure you I have earned my possion I spent 15 years training marines in the federation. That is why I was not made a WeHwI'. I believe it is a way for him to test my worth of the postion I desire." K'Tar looked at the woman. "I was not addressing you." M'Rek finally spoke, "She earn her path, but she must first understand the Klingon Heart." He growled, clearly he was not speaking completely of the same matter. "Yes," K'Tar said with a growl. "That be' was only placed as XO due to being a CHang house member." G'Trell nodded "I see, well that does not make her any less of a person. Perhaps she will earn that title in time." M'Rek grunted but remained quiet now as he broke open on of the skulls and ate his meal. "Perhaps..." K'Tar drank down the rest of his bloodwine. "I must leave and find Ceres. Qapla." K'Tar said as he stood G'Trell stood in respect. "It was a pleasure meeting you. I look forward to serving with you and perhaps under you some day." "Ceres? How is she?" "She is well," K'Tar merely stated. He then looked at G'Trell and nodded. "We shall see." K'Tar turned and left The Legion. G'Trell sat back down and looked at M'Rek. M'Rek was glade to hear they had settled their differences. He now looked at G'Trell. His golden brown eyes meeting her eyes. "Why do I feel there is something wrong M'Rek?" She eyed him curiously. He could be just too busy eating but she had noticed the silence at the mention of TLai. He sighed, "She came in when I was eating this morning. There was a.. disagreement." "I see" She frowned a little. "Is it mend able? Perhaps I could speak to her for you." "No, that will likely just make it worse. Let her have time to calm." M'Rek responded G'Trell nodded slowly. "You must care deeply for her to be so worried about a disagreement like this." She smiled. "It will be okay.. I am sure things will work out. Just let me know if I can help." "She is a friend. Least I think she is." He decided to change the subject. "So what else do you do besides fight?" He said with a forced grin/snarl. G'Trell liked it when he smiled like that she decided to let him change the subject. " I design Fighters, draw up attack plans, but my favorite thing would have to be playing velocity" "Velocity? Is that a game?" He asked G'Trell let out a merry laugh. "Is a game that tests speed, and sharpens reactions. Perhaps some day we might have a go at it. So how about you, what do you do for fun?" M'Rek laughed as well, "When time permits, Orbital Skydiving. It is the greatest test of courage. G'Trell's brow wrinkled in confusion. "Orbital Skydiving? Cant say I have ever heard of it." "Truely? It is like skydiving but you start at the outer edge of the atmosphere of a planet..." He cut off upon seeing K'Vok. G'Trells attention was then caught too by K'Voks entrance she smiled. "K'Vok how fairs the battles this day on your end?" "You would be surprised how loudly the warrior swore, beaten by a mongrel." K'Vok smiled ferally and walked over. "And with you?" G'Trell's smile vanished and she glanced around. "Awe he accused me of cheating." "Did you deck him for that?"K’Vok asked G'Trell sighed "No his father beat me too him. But all in all I won." M'Rek grunted and took a deep gulp of the bloodwine finishing off the tankard. Then he got up to get more. M'Rek gave a chuckle, "He must of been young. "Sounds like a very young one...my first match was also fairly young, about 18." K’Vok stated with a raised brow. G'Trell smiled. " Young and big, he almost took my head off my shoulders." With a shrug she dismissed it altogether. "Well care to share a drink with us in honor of our victories that reflect honor on our houses and our HoD?" M'Rek grunted, he of course had no memory of whether he had been in a match before or not. But he did not think to much on it. There was a lot of things he didn't remeber. He nodded and raised his tankard to a tost. "For the Honor of our HoD, Our Houses, and our Empire... " " To honor.." She raised her glass K'Vok raised a glass, "To honor." "to Honor," He ended and together they took a deep drink from their tankards G'Trell was surprised when other Klingons picked up the toast around the room. She drank deeply of her mug pleased at how it burnt all the way down. It made her eyes light up again. She felt new strength in her. She glanced at her companions her eyes resting on K'Vok. "So K'Vok what is it you do for fun?" "I play with toys...like...warp cores...and weapons." K’Vok stated with a smile M'Rek just litened now as he finished his plate off as well and went for some targ and to fill his tankard up a 3rd time. G'Trells smile widened" Really. My foster father was an Engineer. I must say it rubbed off a little. Tell me does the cloaking device on a bird of prey pull off the same power grid as the warp our are they a diffrent system?" “Federation warp or Klingon? And honestly, it depends on when it was made. Before about 2320 they were on different power grids." He took a drink from his glass. "Well my father served on both so I am not sure. I know that Federation ships run on separate systems still." G’Trell smiled "Yes, I knew that...most BoPs run on the same grid now." K’Vok said When they started talking about engineering stuff he defiantly found himself with nothing to say. He was a warrior and never an engineer. G'Trell nodded and looked over at M'Rek noticeing he had fallen sielent again. She changed the subject. "I met your young student earlier" SHe said looking back to K'Vok. "He has potenchel." M'Rek justed grunted and drank his bloodwine and ate his targ. He did look at G'Trell and all things about her. The way she carried herself more than the beauty. But still both. "Yes, he does...but he doesn't listen to me...which reminds me of another young warrior I knew." K'Vok took a sip of his wine. "Only, Ness is a little more stable." M'Rek finally spoke up. "How well has the lessons been going?" G'Trell laughed " I hope you dont mind but I ran him through some paces. He dissarmed me suprising enough. I showed him a few moves to help him out in the tourney." "That is surprising. As for the lessons, M'Rek, they've been, frustrating..." M'Rek grunted, "After his first lesson he was complaining that you were trying to kill him. i told him that if you were trying to kill him he would be dead." He laughed. "He is so much like how I was, I am training him as I was." G'Trell nodded" I can imagine, I remeber training my foster sister." She chucckled. "well if he should become unmindful send him to the barracks I will whip him in shape. No didrespect to you but I think a few drills might curve his attidued twoard you." "Perhaps we should make this a joint effort, but I must prove myself to Ta'pez as well. I will earn the warrior's respect if I have to kill him trying." M'Rek chuckled and found his 3rd tankard already empty. He had been drinking quickly. He felt the buzz of it in his mind but he was not drunk. G'Trell Nodded "Indeed I would be honored." "Good, you can stop me from killing him." G'Trell chuckled" I could try" M'Rek stood and slapped K'Vok on the back roughly. "Teach the Human to be Klingon. We will see him grow to be a fine warrior." K'Vok smiled, "Yes, he will be honorable, and brave, but hopefully not insane. However, if he does die, I have claim for his position." G'Trell laughed feeling good in the company of good friends." I wont challenge it." M'Rek laughed and slapped him on the back once more. "Yes we should be shammed he turn insane." "Nothing wrong with insanity," G'Trell smirked then took a drink. "Ever heard of crazy brave?" "I always heard it foolishly brave, but yes." M'Rek chuckled and looked to G'Trell, meeting her eyes once more. He grabbed another tankard and drank it. G'Trell smiled "Well I assure you we have two fine examples at this table." She looked over at M'Rek finishing his forth drink."Thats why M'Rek and I are gonna go train some more." She looked back at K'Vok "I gotta stay on my toes to keep up there with you." "I have to beat M'Rek next round...so it might not be me you have to worry about." "Have Ness as my room mate," He said his mind still in that conversation even though it was no longer going on. G'Trell smiled at M'Rek “good drag him along to our bout. We will teach him how to deal with multiple enemies." She looked back to K'Vok "Wanna come?" "Sure" G'Trell beamed. "Good lets go find the man." "I know how to fight mutiple enemies!" He grumbled as he grabed for another. The fourth one had not been pure bloodwine it seems. It had some other alcohol mixed in it that was stronger. G'Trell gave M'Rek a long look. "Well I guess we should wait until later. I should get a little rest before such a bout. M'Rek care to walk with me?" She looked at K’Vok "Of corse K'Vok you are welcome to come too." "No, I think I'm going to stay here and get something to eat...I'm famished." G'Trell nodded and got up. "Pleasure seeing you again my friend." She was sure to say it load enough so that the Klingon throwing dirty stares at K'Vok would hear her. "See you later, friend." G'Trell nodded "Indeed later" M'Rek nodded and stood by G'Trell looking a bit dazed by the alcohol in his system but he could still walk and as she left he went with her. Title: Re: After the Fights Post by Tlai on Feb 12th, 2005, 7:07pm T'lai sauntered into the bar, feeling rather bored, that she really couldn't do much since she wasn't competing. As she entered, she looked around to see if she reconized anybody, and she did. Her eyes locked on K'Vok. She sighed nervously, as she watched him from the doorway. She then made her way to an empty table and took a seat, after she had ordered some blood wine. Tag: anybody |

Title: Re: After the Fights Post by gtrell on Feb 12th, 2005, 10:03pm Group post Tapez HoD Ness T'Lai G'Trell M'Rek ON: T'lai took a big gulp of her blood wine. She then finished off her mug and called out to her waitor. "Here here! More Blood wine!" She requested merily. The waitor brought T'lai a tankard of blood whine and refilled her glass. "Thank you! Now on with you!" She said, shooeing the waitor away almost moments after they had gotten there. G'Trell smiled up at her large comanion and could not help but feel they had a bound how how. Never had she bonded so quickly with some one before. She still wished that T'Lai could have shared their company. The three of them would make a awsome team. She reached up and punched M'Rek in the arm playfully. "Well my good friend I do believe you are a bit drunk." M'Rek grunted, "Don't think all the bloodwine was pure. Another kind of alcohol." He said and slapped her on the back in return. G'Trell chuckled but then stopped in mid step and her eyes got wide. She quickly patted around her hips then looked back up at M'Rek who had stopped as well and was giving her a funny look. " Oh my! I forgot to pick up my daqtagh in the bar." M'Rek grunted, "Forgot your daqtagh? Must get thet." G'Trell noded and quickly turnned around and headed back at a brisk walk that even the big man had trouble keeping up with. She cursed herself for her stupidity and forgetfulness it was not like her at all. She pushed open the door to the bar and looked about and spotted the weapons green sheen easly at the edge of the bar. Where most forgotten weapons where sat, not that many klingons did such foolish things. SHe swept it up quickly and secured it to her belt, then turnned to find M'Rek at the door his eyes resting els where. She followed his gaze to T'Lai. A smile broke across her face. " Tlai! Good to see you again." G'Trell walked over to the table. "M'Rek stop gawking and come over here." "I am not gawking!" He growled, this time his voice not so calm. T'lai glanced at M'Rek and narrowed her eyes at him. She then looked up to G'Trell to a more friendly expression. G'Trell, Good to see you again!" She replied. "Why not you two sit down and have some wine with me, on the house!" She said. "WAITOR!! MORE WINE!!" She called out. G'Trell gave him a questiong stare, then turned to meet T'Lai. " I would be honored" The waitor brought 2 more empty mugs to be filled. T'lai then filled them up with some blood wine. "So what brings you two over here? Aren't the qualifyings today?" She asked. M'Rek didn't sit down at first. He was unsure. Then finally sat down taking one og the drink She took a seat and cast a glance at M'Rek. "Yes, I was victorious." She looks back at T'Lai with a smile. " M'Rek won also. As well as Ness and a few others, We had a couple of toasts earlier. I must say I missed your company." "Congratulations! Then we can drink to your victories! I unfortunately am on the waiting list. I cant even try out for the qualifications yet." She said. Her voice seemed as though she was dissapointed about not being able to qualify. M'Rek just grunted, taking a drink of the tankard of bloodwine. He was already a bit drunk but was drinking anyways G'Trell noted the woman’s disappointment." I will sorely miss the competion. You are a fine warrior." "It's just as well anyhow. I guess I can wait till next year." She said. She cast a glance at M'Rek and stilled his hand from anther drink. "We still have many fights today. You may wish to keep a clear head." T'lai frowned. "My apologies. I did not know." She commented. G’Trell shifted her attention back to Tlai. "Know of what?" G'Trell shrugged” Five tainted mugs of strong blood wine. Well six now” "Why you act like everything fine suddenly?" M'Rek growled. G'Trell turned to M'Rek her face a mess of confusion. " Peace M'Rek. I am sure she has let whatever matter between you and her go." T'lai glared at G'Trell. "What goes on between M'Rek and I is not of your concern." She snapped. G'Trell was taken back a bit by TLai's quick anger. She carefully weighed her next words. "I am aware of this." M'Rek growled, almost hostile and sent his tankard flying across the room to smash against the wall. The tall drunk stood in anger. T'lai glared at M'Rek. "What the devil was that for??" She demanded "You think me so weak as to go back on my word of Honor!" His voice boomed. Everyone else at the bar became very quiet. G'Trell held her breath. What was unfolding around her was to familiar. She and F'Larn had said such words before on the Crazy Horse. Her tongue was stilled as her mind drifted back. Her eyes widened. "F'Larn." The name left a bitter taste in her mouth. She stood and made for the door. Only to be caught by M'Reks hand he was careful not to cut her with his claws. She looked up at him her eyes haunted. M'Rek met her eyes and realized he needed to cool down. She made him realize that as he saw the way she looked at him something about this touched her on a deeply. T'lai frowned slightly as G'Trell spoke a name. "It would be in your best interest not to pry into business that isnt yours." She commented to G'Trell, trying to be polite. G'Trell glanced at the woman and nodded. "Thank you for the wine." She then glanced at M'Rek. " I am sorry but I must go." M'Rek growled, he looked at T'Lai and then started off himself. T'lai growled at M'Rek. "Wait right there, Mister." She called out to him. G'Trell watched his back as he went out the door. She could hear words echoing in her head. The angry shouts that always seemed to end just as this. She peered down at Tlai. T'lai ignored the fact that was G'Trell was watching them. She walked right up to M'Rek and stood infront of him. She then crossed her arms and rested them in front of her. "Alright, What is your problem?" She demanded to him T'lai glared at M'Rek. "Well are you going to answer me or just stand there like a fool?" She demanded. G'Trell closed her eyes feeling a bit dizzy. This was not happening not here not now. M'Rek just glared at her, "You already know the problem. There is no need to explain it." He growled lowly. "Yes there is. You are behaving like a human child." She retorted. G'Trell looked around the room at the Klingons staring at the scene. Her blood bowled. But this was not her fight. This was between her friends. So much like her and F'Larn this seemed too much. This would ruin them if it turned to hate. Still she could not move. Just watch. The intensity in the room was so high that they did not notice the HoD's arrival first. M'Rek's fist clinched as he stared down at her. He was angry, but was trying to calm, then the insult. Ta'pez joined their little group. "Greetings everybody." There was a remarkable silence as everybody realized that the HoD was here. M'Rek seeing the HoD became very silent and still. It was obvious though that his blood was roaring and was tensed up as if ready fro battle. T'lai was about to throw another insult at M'Rek when she heard Ta'pez's voice. She quickly stood up straight and made her way over to her HoD. Ta'pez: "It is so nice to see our crew gathered. Enjoying each other in friendly company" Ta'pez turned around. "Ah Ness come join us!" T'lai noticed an uneasiness about Ta'pez. "HoD, Sir, Is everything okay?" She asked with concern The Klingons in the room chuckled at this G'Trell felt sick to her stomic and moved back to the table. Ta'pez sat down and said chillingly. " You are all doing fine. Are you not." The level of his voice was chilling and they all knew his rage was great even though it was tempered in a quiet voice. Tlaithen turned her attention to G'Trell whom was swaying. She quickly rushed over to her side. She then looked to Ta'pez with hesitance. "Yes sir, we are." She replied. She then looked at G'Trell with concern. She then whispered just loud enough for G'Trell to hear. "You need to go see the doctor immediately." G'Trell looked at T'Lai not sure what to say. She shook her head and managed to regain a bit of color. "I..I am fine. Its been a stressful day." Ta'pez yelled. "Bartender some bloodwine is needed here!" M'Rek met his HoD's eyes. The HoD knew that nothing was fine and at same time M'Rek realized thet that HoD was holding back his own anger. For some reason this calmed M'Rek then began to slowly relax. "I insist you visit a doctor before your next match." She said, this time her tone was more demanding and full of concern. Ta'pez glared at T'lai. "She is klingon, if doesn’t want qel then she doesn’t have to visit one." T'lai looked at Ta'pez. "She is ill. She will do poorly at the tournament if she participates in this condition. I would rather her fight and loose with honor, then fight and loose by giving the opponent an advantage by not feeling well. " She replied. "This is none of your business T'lai, it is her choice and that is all there needs to be said." he replied with anger creeping in his voice. It was obvious he didn’t wish to have his word negated. He turned towards the rest. "The meH'Haj will be here in the coming days. The refit is done and we will be ready to commence our duty once the tournament is finished." he announced. T'lai glared at him. She then stood up. "Fine." She replied. She then left the room, and waited outside the door way and leaned against the wall, as she listened to the HoD's announcements. G'Trell shook her head then made to sit. If not for the table to suport her she most like would have crashed to the floor. She noticed the slight tremble in her hands she clamped them together tightly. Glad the mess was over. Her eyes went to the HoD as he spoke. M'Rek came back with his food hearing the announcements but staying silent as he dug into his food He finally looked to G'Trell again. The anger was almost gone now and apparently most the effects o the alcohol he had consumed earlier. Now it was just concern and weary regret. G'Trell laid her head on her arms. A completely human gesture she had picked up over the years. "I need a stiff drink." came her shaky reply T'lai was still just outside the door, but out of sight. She continued to listen so she wouldnt miss any important announcements. G'Trell reached over and snagged M'Reks drink. "May I?" M'Rek nodded. "I expect all of you to be ready to do your duty, there will be a lot of work to be done." Ta'pez said M'Rek brought his attention back to Ta'pez, "Yes sir." Ta'pez stood up. "Now continue your festivities. I have some other business to take care of". T'lai watched as Ta'pez walked out the door. She sighed deeply knowing she was probably in trouble for talking back to the HoD. M'Rek sat quiet a moment as the HoD left, and then looked at G'Trell. "I should not of gotten you involved. It was my fault for this mess." G'Trell shook her head. " If you say so, Tis not my fight. If you please I must go rest....I am not myself." G'Trell got up and stumbled a bit. Ness came over and stabilized her, "Do you need any help?" M'Rek saw he stumble and got up. "G'Trell?" Then saw that Ness had her but still he was concerned. G'Trell nodded. "I need to see the doctor" She whispered to him. "I think something may be wrong." "Let's go to sickbay," Ness suggested. M'Rek came and took her other side to help as well. G'Trell was grateful for the support. Her side ached and her body began to tingle. A grayness fuzzed her vision then black. Ness: "G'Trell? Ness to Transporter Room. Can you please lock onto G'Trell's commbadge and beam the three of us directly to sickbay?" The three rematerialized in sickbay. TAG: XFY sickbay G’Trell-OOC: so you know her main problem is a lack of nurturance plus through in the drinking, then the fighting, then the Stress. It got over whelming. Title: Re: After the Fights Post by gtrell on Feb 13th, 2005, 10:16am G'Trell awoke a few moments later. She was a bit disoreantred, the last thing she remebered was being at the bar. She looks around at the soft white hue walls, this was not the bar. With a groan G'Trell sat up. She was not in any kind of pain on the contrarey she felt wonderful. Better than she had in a long long time. She just hated the idea of Doctors. Well not all doctors she was quick to correct in her mind, She hadn't minded Tal'Vur so much. Yet then again he had also earned her respect. She shook her hear Why was it that thoughts of the Saturn left her feeling melicolly? She looked around once again and noted the lack of doctor in the room. She slid from her bio bed and made for the door. TAG: XFY sickbay OOC: need to get her ready for the next round, So she will be a bit rushed when she leaves. |
Title: Re: After the Fights Post by Doc_Meadow on Feb 13th, 2005, 10:58am =XFY Sickbay= "Whoa," Doctor Meadow exclaimed as she entered the room. Her patient was almost out the door. "Hold up!" she ordered, using her own body as a barricade. It wasn't her best idea of the day, but it did slow down the Klingon just a tad. "Back on the bed, now!" she ordered. |
Title: Re: After the Fights Post by gtrell on Feb 13th, 2005, 12:48pm Joint post G'Trell Dr.Meadows G'Trell looked down at the woman a bit surprised. She seemed to have come out of no where. G'Trell sighed so much for a clean getaway she mused. Perhaps she could be reasoned with? "I need to go practice for the next match." G'Trell stated and could not help but note how much she sounded like a spoiled child. She softened the whine in her voice as she continued. "Please, I swear I will return after my next match so you can complete what must be done." "Or, I'll complete what must be done, and then maybe I'll let you leave for your next match," Meadow answered, still pointing at the bed. "If it's nothing, I'll release you right away." G'Trell sighed and with a shrug turned around and made her way back to the bed. "What needs taken care of? I feel fine now." "I'll figure that out in a minute," Meadow answered. The scans started immediately and the results came up one after another. While the scans continued, she asked her own questions, "So, what brought you here?" G'Trell was confused at first with the question. She had not a clue what had brought her to sickbay? That was her job to figure out. Then feeling stupid she realized she had meant what had brought her to XFY. "The same thing that brought everyone else I guess. I wanted to have a chance to test my skill against other warriors of all races. The tourney is the best place to learn new techniques." "Those new techniques will be had to master when you're passed out on the floor, no?" Meadow snapped her tricorder shut as she looked at the Klingon. G'Trell gave the doctor a half smile. "Indeed. So.......What’s the problem?" "What did you have for breakfast this morning?" G'Trell’s face became a ball of confusion. " A couple of bites from a tuna salad sandwich." G'Trell was glad that there where no other Klingons in the room. Her cheeks still burned at the confession. " I was not really that hungry, Plus I was eager to get to my morning work out." "And for dinner last night?" Meadow queried. G'Trell thought a moment about the feast the night before. She had been too nervous to eat anything. " I don’t suppose I ate anything. I can’t really remember. I was a bit distracted. I did however drink some fluids." G'Trell also remembered how easily drunk those fluids had made her. Meadow nodded, moving away from the side of the bed. "Bloodwine doesn't count as a fluid. Dehydration and malnutrition are very easy ways to earn a quick defeat in competition. You're not taking care of yourself." Returning to G'Trell's side, she carried a tray with her. "The replicators can't make Klingon cuisine," she apologized, "So you'll have to do with a cheeseburger. Eat, then I'll take a look at that gash in your side." G'Trell could not help but smile. "A cheeseburger is just fine ma'am." With that she started in on her meal. That’s when the last part of what the doctor said struck her. She became instantly nervous again. Finishing the cheeseburger she watched the doctor preparing several objects. " I wont need to remove anything will I?" She didn't want anyone to see the marks on her back. They where a constant reminder of a failed mission. A mission few knew anything about. “I could do it for you,” the doctor suggested, “but I’d appreciate cooperation.” She help up an hypo, “Unless you want to be drugged into submission?” G'Trell shook her head. "Is it necessary?" "The drugs? The drugs aren't necessary. Removing your top is." Meadow smiled, "I'll give you another cheeseburger when we're done." G'Trell squirmed a bit. "I am not sure, I am not to fond of people looking at me only half clothed." “I won’t be looking at you; I’ll be looking at your wound. And if we don’t do this soon, you may miss your qualifying rounds--or whatever rounds you’re in…” She muttered the last part, rather uncertain how the competition was progressing. “I have drugs,” she waved the hypo as a reminder. As the Doctor came closer barring the drugs in her hand, G'Trell came off the bed and almost ran the woman over in an attempt to leave. |
Title: Re: After the Fights Post by Tlai on Feb 13th, 2005, 1:09pm T'lai sauntered into the sickbay, curious if G'Trell had went in there like she had requested. As she entered she looked around, and watched as the other nurses and assistants were working busily. She sighed as she felt ignored. G'Trell fel;lt freedom as she dashed from the obsevation room. She looked over her shoulder to be sure the Doctor was not hurt and crashed into some one. She grunted as they tumbled to the floor. She took in the sight of Tlai. T'lai stumbled back onto the floor as she felt something force up against her as though she had ran into a brick wall. "Ughhhh....." She said as she rubbed her fore head. She then looked around to see what happened and she seen G'Trell a few inches on the floor in front of her. "Are you THAT excited to see me?" She asked G'Trell. G'Trell was quick to her feet. "No just excited to leave this place." SHe reached down and pulled Tlai to her feet. "We better hurry, that woman has drugs." SHe motions to the doctor whom just came out of the same room as she. T'lai gripped G'Trell's arm. "Stop right there, G'Trell. You can't get better if you don't let the doctor look at you." She replied. "I'm worried about you." She said in a concerned voice. Doctor Meadow was rubbing her arm as she made her way out of the exam room in pursuit of her patient. "Mental note, don't taunt Klingons," she muttered to herself. "Hey, I wasn't done with you," she yelled. "Dont worry doctor. She's right here." T'lai called out. G'Trell pulled free and took a retreating step back only to trip over a stool and fall again. "This darn place is a mouse trap." she exclaimed while she attempted to get up again. "I should have waited to feed you," Meadow approached the Klingons. Standing over G'Trell, she smiled, "Listen to your friend, back to the bed." "Besides it wont take but a couple of minutes. I am sure she will let you leave the instant she is done. I hear these docs are pretty speedy." She replied. "How's G'Trell, Doctor?" Ness asked. G'Trell looked around for an alley she spotted a smug looking Ness at the door. "Ness get me outta this." "You need to be checked out, G'Trell," Ness replied," I'd be doing you a disfavor if I let you out of sickbay." T'lai stumbled abit again as she heard the human voice. She wasn't expecting to run into him again. She turned to Ness. "Heh-lo Ness." She said, she was still shabby with some human phrases. Ness was clearly guarding the door. "Greetings T'lai," Ness responded. G'Trell felt trapped. To think she had asked to come here. " I would rather face the Borg" She exclaimed as she rolled back and flipped onto her feet and made anther mad dash for the door that Ness now blocked. "Move Ness or I will move you." T'lai then looked at G'Trell. Her eyes narrowed a bit. "Do you mean you are going to be insubordinate to your first officer?" She said, deciding to step in. "G'Trell, let the doctor scan you," Ness suggested. "Besides the worst that can happen is you get a stomache virus and she'll give you a medicine for it and then your free to go." She said. G'Trell skidds to a stop infront of Ness who still blocked the door calling her bluff. She then peered over her shoulder at Tlai then the Doctor. "I guess there is no way around it." she said grimly. G'Trell skidds to a stop infront of Ness who still blocked the door calling her bluff. She then peered over her shoulder at Tlai then the Doctor. "I guess there is no way around it." she said grimly. With a sigh, Meadow stood quietly, letting the trio work everything out. She still held the hypo, and she was in a fairly good position to move in quickly if need be. Her patient wouldn't get beyond ten feet from the exit. T'lai put her hand to her head, for she felt a sharp pain in it. "G'Trell please dont make me pull ranks on you." She said as she sat down, making it less than obvious that she herself wasnt feeling to swift either. With a sigh G'Trell turnned and headed back toward the room her eyes lingering on the hypo spray in the doctors hand. "Let get this done." "Good," Meadow clapped her hands together, following the tall Klingon back towards the exam room. "And I do work fast," she confirmed the other Klingon's argument. T'lai watched as the brightly color headed human walked off with G'Trell. She then looked up to Ness. "Good thing you was there." She said to him. "I try to be helpful where possible," Ness smiled. T'lai then chuckled. "She could have squaused you like a bug if she really wanted to though. You should remember not to get involved too often with klingon affairs, if you're smart, human." She said to ness. "There's that..." Ness replied, "but when you serve on a Klingon ship, it is hard not to get involved." "That is true.." She replied. Just as she replied, she winced slightly and growled. "I hate it when my head hurts like this." She said, as she waited for the doctor to get done. TBC..... This is a JP between G'Trell, T'lai, and Ness |
Title: Re: After the Fights Post by Tlai on Feb 13th, 2005, 1:13pm -Inside exam room- G'Trell sat on the bed her eyes down cast. Curse the human attributes that had cased her to not plow through that skinny human like brush on then battle feild. She tentivly removed her armor then lifted her t-shirt. the wound had bled through its bandage again she noted a bit suprised. " Alright, lets get this done." she half growled. "Dermal regenerator," Meadow held up the instrument. "It'll take just a moment. You'll feel better, honest." G'Trell nodded and removed the bloody bandage. Meadow grimaced, "I won't ask what caused this." She activated the dermal regenerator, moving closer to the Klingon and patching her up. It took a couple of minutes, but when she was done, she backed away. "See? All done." She went to the replicator as G'Trell redressed and brought back another cheeseburger. "Eat more, then you can go." "Thats it?" G'Trell looked suprised. "That's it," Meadow agreed. "What were you expecting?" G'Trell didn't know what to expect to be honest. Borg technoligy or Breen cruleness. Bad kind of pain. and embaressment. Her thoughts now seemed foolish and a bit funny. She began to laugh. A laughing Klingon is better than an angry Klingon; yet, it's still a scary sight. "You can rejoin your friends now." G'Trell got up cheese burger in hand. " I am sorry for the trouble I caused Doctor. Perhaps next time I wont be so quick to run." With that she left to rejoin the otheres. She beamed at the sight of M'Rek. "Quapal! M'Rek. You missed the fun." M'Rek entered to sickbay somewhat hesitantly. He had left earlier before the doctor came as he didn't want her picking over him. He came in now to see how G'Trell was. "Apprently. Are you well?" M'Rek asked, looking around to make sure the Doctor was not near. G'Trell smirked. "yes thanks to the good doc back there" SHe looked at Ness and Tlai then. " She says I am free to go." with that she took a bite out of her cheese burger. After tidying the exam room, enough so that it didn't look like a Klingon had bulldozed over a doctor to get out of there, Meadow returned to the main reception area of sickbay. She had a feeling her day wasn't over yet. ((JP between Doctor, G'Trell and M'Rek- why I had to post this part, we'll never know ;) )) |
Title: Re: After the Fights Post by gtrell on Feb 13th, 2005, 1:39pm Group post Dr. Meadows Tlai M'Rek Ness G'Trell ON: T'lai looked up at M'Rek as he entered and she would have insulted him, but her head hurted too much for her to come up with any snyed remarks. She then looked at the doc with a pleading expression that she wanted her headache to go away. G'Trell noted the expression on Tlai's face. She seemed to be distracted. but not wanting a repeat of the bar she held her tounge on the matter. It was probably best to get M'Rek outta here. She looked at Ness. "Thank you Ness for helping me out by the way." "No problem," Ness replied. M'Rek looked at G'Trell with his golden brown eyes, his look reminding her that she was Klingon. He saw the Doctor and turned so that the battle scarred side didn't show. "Are you ready?" G'Trell nodded and gave the human a genuin smile. " I am lucky to have such friends. " She looked at M'Rek then. "What say you to a bite to eat. I feel like I could use a ice cream sundae," "Ice Cream Sudae?" He asked curiously. G'Trell nodded " Yes ice cream sundae, the best darn food in the known univers. Care to join us Ness?" His Hirogen/Klingon features gave an odd look at that name. "I think I will stick with the Skull Stew." G'Trell chuckled and taking him by the arm left the room. she did glance back at the human male whom still seemed to be contimplating her last offer. "If you want one follow. " She left it at that as she and M'Rek stepped into the hall. ---- Back in the Office---- T'lai finally spoke up. "Doc have you got anything to cure my head hurting?" She asked. "Less bloodwine, more water," Meadow answered, wandering in closer to the group and pulling her tricorder out. "Where does it hurt?" "Everywhere," She replied to the doctor. Meadow left momentarily, returning with an hypospray for the second Klingon. "Voila, you'll be feeling better momentarily. And I was serious about drinking less bloodwine." …TBC |
