Title: Kira naul Gordon vs Loj Hartson Post by Kira_naul_Gordon on Feb 15th, 2005, 7:34pm As Kira pull her Betleh of the wall of honour she walk to the ring there was Loj Hartson. the klingon look bigger now that the fight was to begin. Loj just watch threw fired eyes. as the Dracanian walk in. thinking how much it look like a odd gorn "What say you to a ko match." Kira nod looking to the judges" it a ko bout." than there was the sound that stated the fight had begun. than Kira bow to Loj as the battle begin. Loj sneered before rushing in with multiple diagonal slashes Kira was shock on how the fight had started, Loj Finding an opening through the anarchic clanging of steel, Loj sneaks in with a knee to Kira's abdomen. all three eyes stared at the klingon warrior, wondering what was his game. spinning her betleh,it was now apart of arm. and as she started to circle the klingon. trying to keep up with the strikes of his blade. as spark spur out every now and than, as the blades met . too kira surprise a knee in her gut made her growl." ho nice..." as she push him back. it been awhile for her to feel such pain. all three eye watching the klingon. try to see his next strike. Loj prevailed with his attacks sending in a flurry of slashes and thrusts, not giving the Dracanian a moment to recover. Kira decided to put a spin in to the plan. by meeting two counter strike with a sudden blow to the head area. hoping to throw Loj back enough for her to get her wind Evading the blow to his head, albeit slightly as he felt the sting from the small gash on his face, Loj twirled to follow the motion of the attack. Spinning as he went lower before his turns culminated in an attempt at sweeping Kira's legs from her. Kira look at the klingon, and smiled as she rolled back to her feet. " ok I guess play time is over.." as her fins under her uniform began to rattle. her blood was now boiling. while the second fight began in kira head the~ thought you will honour your family.~ kept on repeating on a endless loop. With a Cold gaze the half-Klingon thrust forward with his betleH at the Dracanian as she regained her composure. Kira trying not to be dishonourable. and to her, this was becoming hard to do. see a thrust coming her, she bolted to the left, while striking her betleh to the right. feeling the sting of the two weapon hitting Loj attempted to twisted the betleH from his opponent but found the Dracanian's strength to be too strong. Kira sneered as she plant her claw feet, She held on to the weapon. and twisted the other way firm, and than pushing back at the klingon to give her room to move again. Shifting to his bleeding side, Loj took up a defensive posture. Kira thinking the klingon could be up to a possible flank diversion push on with her assault. with a high low combo The half-Klingon blocked a few of the assaults but not all them, causing cuts and nicks to appear on his exposed side. Kira starts to move to a left right combo swing, follow up by a straight head shot.. all three eye and her very soul lock into her training. Too concerned with the injury to his side, the half-Klingon focused most of his efforts on parrying those that were aimed there before a blow to the head caught him unawares. seeing a weakness Kira push the assault on see the head shot was open the betleh come in flat and to the left side for a full force shot. kira felt the hit her hand were sore from the fight but she knew she had hit the klingon on with large amount of force. as Loj flew to the right his eye were close before he ever hit the ground as his betleh skid a few feet from him. with great effort kira force her self to stop the follow strike as she saw she had won the bout Loj was now out she raise her betleh up in the air in sign of victory. and than bow to the judges. and than she walk off the arena. she needed a drink, and she needed it now. |
Title: Re: Kira naul Gordon vs Loj Hartson Post by gtrell on Feb 16th, 2005, 12:59am G'Trell admired Kira's skill and appladed her on her victory against the klingon. The Dracanian was skilled. Something to keep in mind for futcher tourneys. G'Trell shifted her weight and stelled in for the next round. She almost gasped when K'Vok and M'Rek enter the ring. |
Title: Re: Kira naul Gordon vs Loj Hartson Post by Ta`pez HoD on Feb 16th, 2005, 1:03am Ta'pez who had been sitting with her commented "I would not have thought that Loj was to loose so early." |
Title: Re: Kira naul Gordon vs Loj Hartson Post by gtrell on Feb 16th, 2005, 1:33am With a smile G'Trell looked over at Tapez HoD. "In my years of travles I have learned that it is foolish to underestimate those you are not famillior with. Though Loj was stronger the draconian was faster and showed exemplementry skill. All in all a even and fine match. This fight was well matched and hard won for the victor. Loj sure gave her a run for her money." |
Title: Re: Kira naul Gordon vs Loj Hartson Post by Ta`pez HoD on Feb 16th, 2005, 8:39am "Oh I wasnt underestimating, I hope I was not, but yes what you said is true." Ta'pez said. " Those are smart words G'trell and I think apply to more then just this tournament." |
Title: Re: Kira naul Gordon vs Loj Hartson Post by gtrell on Feb 16th, 2005, 9:43am G'Trell nodded. "It applys to every thing in life." |
Title: Re: Kira naul Gordon vs Loj Hartson Post by Jailan_Allers on Feb 16th, 2005, 12:58pm Jailan had watched the battle silently. Personally he had avoided watching most of the fights. They seemed little more than veiled barbarism to him, but Loj was a fellow crewmember. Jailan would be here for moral support if nothing else. The battle had been quick, and as expected brutal. The Bajoran diplomat couldn't help but cringe slightly at the grating sound of metal meeting metal. He didn't think he could ever remember Loj being so violent, though in all honesty he did not spend much time with the other officer. In the end, his being there seemed to make little difference. The Dracanian stood victorious over the unconscious half-Klingon. Jailan applauded the match lightly, though internally he shuddered to think how any race could see amusement in such sports. |
Title: Re: Kira naul Gordon vs Loj Hartson Post by Ta`pez HoD on Feb 16th, 2005, 10:06pm Ta'pez caught view of an unusual attendee, it was a bajoran diplomat. He had felt the mans displesure and disgust. Ta'pez chuckled derisivly and G'trell asked. "You find my comment wrong?" "No not at all" Ta'pez said. Obviously the look on G'trells face told him that she did not fully believe him. "I was laughting at that bajoran." Ta'pez pointed to the man across the arena. " He is attending the tournament matches and yet distinctivly dislikes them." Ta'pez didnt go into the details of how exactly he knew but continued it. "Look at his body posture - it looks so out of touch with his demeanor." |
Title: Re: Kira naul Gordon vs Loj Hartson Post by gtrell on Feb 17th, 2005, 11:09am G'Trell eyed the man across the arena, sure enough Tapez's was right. She shook her head. " I feel for the gentaled cultures in this univers, Though the first step to becoming a warrior is observation, Perhaps he came in hopes of being inlightend." She could not help but smile "Then again he may have just come to remind himself why he has such dislike for mock battle all together, who knows." SHe shrugged slightly. " It takes a keen mind to understand what is gained by such displays." |
Title: Re: Kira naul Gordon vs Loj Hartson Post by Ta`pez HoD on Feb 17th, 2005, 11:17am Ta'pez nodded, "It is something I try to practise often, your life can depend on it. He was fairly easy to read - others are much more difficult." |
Title: Re: Kira naul Gordon vs Loj Hartson Post by Loj_Hartson on Feb 21st, 2005, 4:25pm Swelling darkness burst into light as he opened his eyes. Stinging light as though he had been out for days, if not weeks but his surroundings told him that it was but a matter of minutes. Glancing through the side of his eyes he saw the Dracanian walking off into one of the passageways and his betleH lying still upon the tournament mat. There was no pain nor ache as he bolted upright, just soft stings upon numerous parts of his flesh, not unlike the bites of mosquitoes in the rare marshes of Bella IV. Loj moved to stand, almost in slow motion as the crowd mumbled - some whispering, some hissing with random jeers in between. And as he swooped down, grabbing his blade, the torrent of jibberish excalated as if his way of picking up his betleH was being debated with great enthusiasm. Neither turning nor acknowledging the crowd, the half-Klingon Lieutenant strode off the mat. There was little doubt in his mind that T'lak had seen what had occured and no doubt as well of what he would do. Then again, though he had claimed the other half of his bloodline was Vulcan, Loj found it leaning more towards the cousins of said race. In any case, at least now he would be free of them, for there was little need for a DevwI' of such demanour. And surely his repute amongst the ones T'lak would wish to impress would equal to none. OFF: Meh, one Klingon word in that whole thing and I'm not even sure I got it right..... |
