OFF: This battle is short and to the point since I am not very good at writing combat posts by myself yet....

ON:

Ness entered the ring, shortly followed by Sarge McClintok (NPC).

"Disarmament?" Ness asked hopefully.

"Fine by me. Just means I will beat you quicker," McClintok replied.

Ness signaled disarmament to the judge.

"Ness vs. McClintok. Disarmament," the judge called, "BEGIN."

The crowd was obviously disappointed there wouldn't be any blood in this match.

Ness and McClintok circled. McClintok was clearly waiting for Ness to attack.

"Scared, McClintok?" Ness asked, "I hear you serve on a Galaxy class ship. All those comfortable beds. I sleep on a slab every night. It's not very comfortable, but you get used to it."

"I am not scared of you," McClintok replied.

"Then," Ness replied back, "Why have you been circling the furthest distance away in the ring?"

Ness's point hit home, and McClintok attacked. Ness blocked it easily, "How long have you been using a bat'leth? A day?"

McClintok was getting angrier as he attacked again. Ness again blocked it easily. If it was just a slightly different angle, Ness could disarm him.

"You know, I'd hoped I'd at least get a light workout from this match," Ness taunted.

McClintok attacked, at the perfect angle. Ness twisted his bat'leth and the other bat'leth clattered to the floor, just outside the ring.

"Match, Ness!" the judge called.

Ta'pez chuckled as he watched his Chief of Ops fight. Ness had spent the time wisely learning the many apt forms of curse warfare.

This new skill had won him the battle.
