T'lai was in her quarters, and she replicated a bowl of water and some cloth bandages. She cleaned up her hands well enough and then wrapped each hand with a bandage to keep the cuts from getting too badly infected. When she finished, she looked at her now bandaged hands, and frowned as she thought about how the doc was going to send the targ after her if she was to visist the wildly colored haired doctor again so soon. She figured she'd wait for a bit before she would go back and decided to clean up the shards of broken glass off the floor.

While she was cleaning up, she heard her door chime in.

"Come in!" She called out.

And in came a human that was wearing a star fleet uniform. She quirked an eyebrow as she watched him nervously approached her.

"Ma'dam, I have a message for you from XFY officials." the messenger said.

T'lai nodded. "Well are you going to tell me what the message is? Or am I going to have to feed you to the targs for dinner?" She said jokingly.

The messenger gulped then continued.

"As of 1000 hours this morning, it has been decided that T'lai will take the place of K'Rahl in round 32 at the bat'leth competition. You will be competing against a Mr. Jones. Thank you for your time and coperation." The messenger said as he bowed. He then left the room.

T'lai stared at the door in disbelief as the messenger left. She shrugged and grabbed her bat'leth and headed towards the training facilities.
