Ness stepped into the turbolift, followed by an enlisted security officer escorting him to the restricted area of the base, and ordered the computer to his destination, "Deck 2400."

The turbolift deposited him on the very bottom of the station. He opened the Jefferies tube hatch, and entered the tube. No doubt, K'Vok was already monitoring his commbadge, so it wasn't like he could just take the turbolift up to Deck 1.

He started climbing....

OFF: Everyone, IC, I won't see you for about two days...... so just watch my periodic posts of my progress up the tube....
