After the morning matches were done Ta'pez decided to seek out the conforts of the Legion and the semi decent bloodwine it offered.

As he walked in he noted one particular suprise, Sajida was here, alone and byherself.

"nuqneH Sajida, daughter of Patrik" Ta'pez said with a mischivious grin.

Sajida headed off to the Legion alone as Kira wanted to change out of her clothes into something more comfortable for lounging around. Agreeing to meet with her in the Legion for some lunch they parted and went their own ways.

Walking into the Legion again the bartender cleaning up a table near her said hello since he knew her well enough by now. She acknowleged him and walked further in looking for a nice table when someone called out to her.

Surprised to hear Ta'pez she turned around to face him sitting at a table near the middle of the room. She walked over and pulled up a chair opposite from him at the table. "nuqheH Ta'pez i'm surprised you remember me. It's been too long" she replied "Your fight that just ended was impressive, you have improved much more than I thought"

Ta'pez chuckled. "Always so humble, if I didnt know better I would think you were insulting the good times we had last year during this competition" he said after sitting down on the chair he was offered.

kira now returning from her fight slip on a civilian out fit to let her back fins more time to move about. she knew that once the fight were over it was back to starfleet stander uniform and her fin would again be tuck under her modified uniform.

the dress was klingon mostly out of leather of a animal she did not even know. it was red and black and looked good on her blue scales.it was modifed to alow her fins to move freely.

she had got a paar of klingon leather wrist gaurds to compleat the look with the snow with hair she was a sight. and mostly to fight any one who did not like it.
as she walk into the bar, looking forward to lunch and ofcourse more blood wine she was taking a strong liking to it. she found Sajida talking to a rather tuff looking klingon she had seen him figh if she got a chance to fight it would mostl likely be very ruff but exciting.

Walking up to Sajida "Sajida are you going to introduce me to the work of art." kira time with the young engineer was rubbing off on her.

Ta'pez looked intriguided, he had seen the draconian before but had not spoken.

Sajida laughed. "But of course, This is Ta'pez son of Chang, he is the commander of the IKS meH'Haj."

Ta'pez extended his hand "A pleasure to meet you'.

Kira bow and than took his hand lightly and yet delicateas one can with claws.

smiling "Sajida and Iwere going to have some lunch would care to join us?"

"It would be my honor to dine with the crew of the Excalibur." Ta'pez " Your prompt arrival has prevented me from bothering Sajida to tell of your adventures this past year, perhabs you will share her burden in telling me your glorious undertakings."

While Kira tried to attract the attention of the waiter Sajida answered Ta'pez "As for the good times Ta'pez I would never insult that! So tell me how have things been with you? How is the meHHaj faring?"

Ta'pez sighted then replied. "It has been an interesting year to say the least. Soon the ship will be here, the KDB yards gave her a good refit after all the fighting at Starbase 900"

"Ah excellent that would have be en something of interest for me if I was your CEO" she said with a smile "As for the Excalibur she's been through some rough missions, defending Starbase 99 from a large Gorn invasion fleet in the Canterra Sector and when Admiral Martens was captured the Excalibur took on some saboteurs trying to make our lives hell".

"So I cannot say I have been bored this past year" Sajida said then smiling before she was going to speak again "And I am also going to be married soon! Life cannot get much better than this"

Ta'pez was suprised by this last comment but refrained from saying anything out of order. Sajida had changed, that had been obvious from the start. Now he knew the reason even without using his mental gift.

Tapez:"I am supposed to recieve a new CEO, they havent told me who it would be as engineers are always hard to find."

"Your telling me we lost a few engineers during the saboteur incident, the Chief has been trying to get some replacements but we have to wait a little longer.."

Sajida knew Ta'pez was put off by the last comment but she had to tell him sooner or later and he probably sensed that she was not the same person she was since the last tournament. "Well then whos next on the hit list Mr. Champion? I still wish I had the chance to face you in battle myself. I envy whoever gets to test their strenght against your own" she said with a chuckle

"Apperently I am due to collect some Admirals Pips this round" T'apez said chuckling.

"Now that Wolfe has won it will be me vs him." Ta'pez said. "It's almost becoming a tradition, last year it was then Admiral Tauvits"

"Intruging, but then again you are the Tournament's Champion after all I wouldn't be surprised if you manage to snag some pips for your collection" she replied laughing. "I'll have to watch that match with interest". The waiter then brought over the lunch for Kira and Sajida and left "Are you sure you are not hungry? I am treating my shipmate here since she just won her second victory! She might even get to face you in battle and if she does I will be jealous" she said while elbowing Kira.

Sajida and Kira both looked at him with odd faces with Kira being the first to respond. Sajida was somewhat reluctant since she was already plastered the night before and if she started now. Still she didn't want to appear weak before Ta'pez.

"Of course I am up for it! Order your barrel we shall see who can get to the bottom of it first" she retorted.

Ta'pez chuckled, he had known that the two had partied extensivly.

"Very well, WAITER BRING US A BARREL OF BLOODWINE!" Ta'pez shouted not wishing to leave the table.

"Now that that is settled," Ta'pez said turning his head back to the two be's, "How comes you have not joined the tourney as a contestant, surerly your loss last year was not that debilitating to for you to avoid the challange."

"Oh no far from it! I had intended to be a competetor this year but the Excalibur required my services for a little longer that's why I could not leave on time with Kira here"

Muttering to himself the bartender had help in bringing the bloodwine with 3 tankards for them. Sajida ate her lunch while Ta'pez cracked opne the barrel "Mmm were you in the Legion last night? If you were you would have gotten the free drinks G'Trell had for me. Haven't gotten that drunk since the last tournament!"

"Heh you two still at odds I take it from the tone of you mentioning his name." Sajida got up and filled her mug sitting back down beside Kira.

"Maybe i'll get to see him this time around since he was obviously busy with the Tournament and standing on kegs of bloodwine" she said laughing as she still remembered it like it happened yesterday.

Ta'pez chuckled. "Indeed you should know better then to miss the start of it" he sobered somewhat after he continued. " As for me not much has changed. The House is always formost at my mind."

Kral came into the bar just in time to hear a Klingon who he recognized as Ta'pez talking about the House being on his mind.

It was something he could relate to, only for different reasons. He went to the counter to get his favorite beverage, warnog. The strong Ale was not the best he admited but it still had the same effect. It calmed his thoughts.

He sat at the counter watching Ta'pez thoughtfuly but watching the women even more. Women, that was all his House was now. There was nothing wrong with them. He respected them, but none of them could readily provide a male to the house. Just one male of the bloodline other than himself.

The women were beautiful, though he didn't think the Dracanian would be a good idea. He pushed them thoughts to the back of his mind and then came up to congradulate the Champian on his victory.

He stepped up to the Klingon, "You are Ta'pez, correct?"

Kral nodded, "I am Kral, of the House of Mok. I have heard many things about your skill in Combat. It was an Honor to see such skill in the fight today."

Kral gave a respectful bow of the head to the woman. "And a beautiful strong woman with you as well. Must give you a challenge." It was apparent he had the wrong impression there.

Ta'pez had a hard time keeping a serious face - he shot a look over to Kira who was just as dreary eyed as he was, obviously being a reptilian helped with the emotional feedback since not many could recognize those features and indications.

"Aye! and a fine warrior too" Kira said out loud

"I think the bloodwine creeps up on my friend rather fast" Sajida said to the two Klingons.

Kral was embarrased by his mistake and it showed a bit on his younger face. Then there was a bit of disappointment as he realized the though the be' was not taken by Ta'pez she was taken by another and unavailable.

One of these days he would find someone, but not today. He drained his mug of warnog and turned to his new friends. "More drinks on the House of Mok?" He offered.

"Yes, most of it. It was an excelent battle and it was an Honor to see such a Skilled warrior in combat." Kral ordered the bloodwine to be brought for his new friends and ordered himself some more warnog. He like Bloodwine but prefered warnog.

"For the warriors who gather in company, may there be many battles and many more victories." He tosted.

Ta'pez mererly smiled. "Well he seems to be most fortunate."

Ta'pez then payed some attention to his own tankard emptying it all.

"Ah nothing like some refreshing after a good match. I must say my last oponent was rather skilled."

Kral was embarrased by his mistake and it showed a bit on his younger face. Then there was a bit of disappointment as he realized the though the be' was not taken by Ta'pez she was taken by another and unavailable.

One of these days he would find someone, but not today. He drained his mug of warnog and turned to his new friends. "More drinks on the House of Mok?" He offered.

"That sounds agreeable" Ta'pez said. How bout you two?" turning his head towards Sajida and Kira.

Kira look up "Ssure im game." now looking fully for a night of surpises

"I'd love another round myself this stuff grows on you if you keep having it so much I should take a barrel back with me when I depart!" Sajida said

Kira voiced her want for another round as well and Kral pounded the table for the waiter to come by.

"As for Ta'pez's previous match it was excellent did you happen to catch it Kral?"

"Yes, most of it. It was an excelent battle and it was an Honor to see such a Skilled warrior in combat." Kral ordered the bloodwine to be brought for his new friends and ordered himself some more warnog. He like Bloodwine but prefered warnog.

"For the warriors who gather in company, may there be many battles and many more victories." He tosted.

Kira nodded to the toast. and drunk deeply.

Ta'pez cheered as well. And the rest of the table followed suit.

as they were finished their tankards Ta'pez turned to Sajida.

"So tell me Sajida, how soon will this lucky betazed mongrel get to take the vows with you" Ta'pez asked.

"Well upon my return with Kira i'd say about a month after maybe less we still have his family and mines to wait to get to where the Excalibur is and friends also have to make the journey. Would you be able to come if you were invited Ta'pez? Of course if you are occupied at the time it would not insult me in the least!" Sajida said

"My parents are just stunned, they never thought I would ever get married soon enough. I am somewhat surprised myself but I couldn't be happier!" Sajida added while drinking down her bloodwine "I'd be most honored if you came though Ta'pez, and your sister as well. How is she these days I didn't see her around here."

Kral's attention was caught by Kira's question. It was a simple innocent question with a difficult and uncomfortable answer. For the moment he considered it at the others talked.

sandra i knoew but it now being anouched. hitting her with a hypo " this will lowwer the alcaoh level in you system but you will sleep like will . let say you pay for later."

Kira hugged Sajida for the affectionate statement and left. "She's one of the best friends I have on Excalibur. I really do hope she makes it through to the end of this thing with her honor intact"

Then she turned to Kral to speak with him "So you are the solitary male in the family. It must be hard being amongst them" she said to him.

"For now I have none, unless my HoD shows up and needs me for other matters." Kral said, "It would be an Honor to watch the match." He said looking to Ta'pez who was silent at the table.

"You sure you dont mind us scooting off to get to the match?" Sajida asked

Ta'pez: <?>

"Good! Don't worry we shall catch up for that match yet" she said with a wink "Qapla to you Ta'pez, Son of Chang" she said smiling as he addressed her earlier on in the conversation in a similar fashion.

"Shall we Kral?"

Kral nodded grabing one more Mug of warnog to take with him. Paying for it real quick before they turned to leave.
