the fight was a damm good one and their was not same in the loss she kept telling her self. but it hard to believe when your on the losing side.

as she enter the bar grab a big tray of meat and ask for  keg of blood wine to be sent to her table in the back. as she sat in the back moping  with a sadden heart.. but smilling as she recalled the fight. and started to eat the overly large tray of spar ribs.

ON:

After the fight with Ta'pez and Wolfe concluding Sajida went looking all over for Kira then eventually ending up in the Legion. As it was dinner time it was flooded once again. But Kira was never hard to find even in a crowd.

Spotting her in the distance at a table to the far end of the Legion with a table full of food Sajida made her way to the back and sat down on the opposite end of the table grabbing a large piece of spare rib from one of the platters.

"Drowning your sorrows eh Kira?" she asked a moping Kira "Don't be so disappointed about it you faught well my friend! You came a long way and I bet no one would ever think you would make it this far"

Kira: <?>

G'Trell stumbled into the bar after sleeping most of the day away.  She could not understand it.  One call from her sister Serina and she was zapped. But then again the message had been unexpected and had laid a lot of demons to rest.  She only wished she could be with her now to comfort the woman who had been brave enough to admit after all these years that they where family.  If not by blood by name.  But the last words from her sisters message stuck firmly in her mind.  Serina had said she loved her,  after years of aruging and denial it was over.  The rivalry was at an end.  G'Trell had not know how much hers sisters hate had effected her.  G'Trell was never one to miss a chance to watch a good fight.  she had heard the morning rounds had been killer and the afternoon rounds where just as grand.  But the news her sister had presented had hit her hard in a way she never knew.  It was nice to know she was not alone as she had thought.   She spotted Kira and Sajida at a table and made her way over and sielently slipped into a chair.  She tryed to cover her inner thoughts by forcing a smile to her face.

After Kira answered Sajida, G'Trell pulled up a chair and smiled at them. Sajida grabbed one of the platters of meat and offered some to G'Trell

"nuqneH G'Trell! Have some ribs or steak even. We haven't seen you in ages"

Kira: << you can add to that>>

G'Trell: <?>

Somewhat concerned for her friend Sajida placed the platter back to where it was originally and looked at G'Trell toying with the meat. *Seems today was going to end on a sour note so far Sajida* thought to herself

"Well then G'Trell penny for your thoughts?"

G'Trell looked up. " My sister,  I got a message from Serina,  something is wrong I know it is,  But she refuses to tell me."

K'Tar entered The Legion and spotted Kira, who seemed depressed.  K'Tar walked over and palced a hand on her shoulder.  "Do not be sad over losing the fight.  You fought a good and honorable fight.  There is no shame in an honorable defeat.  It is too bad you are wearing a Starfleet Uniform.  You would make an excellent warrior for the Empire!  Bartender, get me and my friends here some bloodwine!  And hurry!" K'Tar said with a laugh.

Drowning your sorrows eh Kira?" she asked a moping Kira "Don't be so disappointed about it you fought well my friend! You came a long way and I bet no one would ever think you would make it this far"

Kira "one might say that " not really looking up from her meal biting a rib in half. there was the odd sound of bone and cook flesh being snap in two.
Chewing the juice piece down "Pass the sauce"

After Kira answered Sajida, G'Trell pulled up a chair and smiled at them. Sajida grabbed one of the platters of meat and offered some to G'Trell

"nuqneH G'Trell! Have some ribs or steak even. We haven't seen you in ages"

Kira looking up to see who else had join the table " hello stranger" it never failed you set of to be allow and people show but your glad there. life was really odd at times.

"thank you."

G'Trell looked at the offered tray then looked around for a fork.  Not seeing one she used her fingers to pick out a piece and she quitley ate.

"Well then G'Trell penny for your thoughts?"

G'Trell looked up. " My sister,  I got a message from Serina,  something is wrong I know it is,  But she refuses to tell me."

" stop eating a moment looking at the blood wine bottles her mug was still full " Help your Sself to the wine" have received those kind of messages before."it paySs not to worry about something that could be nothing.. you just lose sleep and go mental. im sure if it was bad some would given you a proper headSs up."

Kral paid for his warnog and sat down to drink it.  His eyes searched the bar before he finally saw Sajida and heard her call him.  She was with another woman, also beautiful.  He got up and walked over to them.  "nuqneH?"  He greeted.

"Sit down and eat before you inhale more of that warnog into your system! Kira ordered some excellent food" Sajida stated

Kira Glared over to the waiter who had been refilling her table "  raised her clawed hand pointing to the platter of meat. and the bottle of blood wine." More PleaSse" showing her sharp in a flash of a grin. that could mean two things. one she was being friendly, or two she was going to bite you head off.

G'Trell smiled. "he obviously was not here when I was drunk and sang of Gilligan world."

Kira chuckled snorting into her blood wine.

Sajida laughed and let Kral continue

“Unless you all want a rendition of a song ill make up for Jeral's Love get me a kegger of bloodwine" Sajida said smiling heavily as she thought of Jeral

Kira not missing a chance to work on her budding sense of humour of course with the wrong tone in voice. making it sound dreaded." by all mean get thiSs woman a battle quick."

K'Tar walked over and placed a hand on her shoulder.  "Do not be sad over losing the fight.  You fought a good and honourable fight.  There is no shame in an honourable defeat.  It is too bad you are wearing a Starfleet Uniform.  You would make an excellent warrior for the Empire!  Bartender, get me and my friends here some bloodwine!  And hurry!" K'Tar said with a laugh.

Kira look up at K'Tar her features soften" im not sad about the fight, i found no same there i fought well and honour was flooding out of the ring "Looking down in to her mug." feel i let people down now that im out of the tourney, " looking at K'Tar with a smile that promised excitement" well if you ever get bore of the empire the dracanian people would hold you in high honours." reaching in her dracanian  belt line were there was a nice black medal hilt to a nice and wicked looking dagger. pulling it out"K'Tar i would be honour if you would recieve this ." pulling the blade out it was a colour than had none but had them all. the blade looked as if it could pull a wound out of thin air.
" K'Tar this is the a Garh~nidor it blade is extremely sharp. and it blade strength very strong. like the warriors honour who bears it." slid it back in to it sheath and hand it to K'Tar " with this im also asking you to be a honorary member of the hour of naul. i would ask you to join it out right but i do not with to impend on any honour to your own house." her eye lock on K'tar " if you ever run into my people than this blade my give you a place of sanction. the marking of the house of naul is not one to be taken lightly.. what saySs you.?"

K'Tar took the knife into his hand, looking at it.  It was an excellent crafted weapon.  Far better than many of the best Klingon blades ever created.  "I shall honor your request, Kira of the house of Naul.  In turn, I will honor you by offering you to join ym house as well.  It may be a small house but it is an honorable house with a long and proud history."  K'Tar removed an extra d'k'tagh from his boot that bared the symbol of his house.  "Here, take this blade.  The symbol on its hilt is that of my house.  You will always be welcomed withing the Empire and my house.  For now, I have other business I should look into.  Qapla, Kira of the House of Naul." K'Tar said, giving the draconian female the traditional Klingon salute as he punded his fist to his chest and then turned on his hell and left the bar.  He wanted to see where his brother and sister were and if they had found anything out about the House of Breml.

ON:

Kral came in once more after watching the Matches.  He often came here now mostly because he had no where else to go and he looked to watch the activity as he drank his warnog.  He came in not noticing Sajida at first as he went to the Counter and ordered his usual, a mug of warnog.

G'Trell looks up at the new comer and smiles. "Sajida who is that?"

Sajida turns to see Kral ordering his drink at the bar and turns back to G'Trell to explain "That is Kral. He was speaking to myself Kira and Ta'pez before their matches. I am a strong be' in his eyes so I am told" she said with a smile

G'Trell laughed, " Strong eh,  how many men here are not thinking your "strong" as you put it."

While giving a heart belly laugh to herself she answered G'Trell "If I knew Jeral would zoom in on Warp 10 to the station. Let me call him over he is rather nice". Sajida then turned around in her chair and called over Kral

<kira>

G'Trell smiled at the new comer and motioned to a seat next to her.  He was cute with his long red brown hair and strong ridges. "heres a seat."

Kral looked at the seat and then took it.  He took another drink of the warnog before speaking.  "You did not tell me you had a friend, Sajida." He grinned

G'Trell was quick to reply " G'Trell,  I mean my name is G'Trell...James"  She looked away quickly feeling embarrassed about stumbling over her own name.

"Aye this is an old friend from past tournaments Kral. She is like a sister to me!" Sajida added, Oh and Kral she is free at the moment if you get me" she said with a wink to him trying to hide her smirking from G'Trell

G'Trell shot Sajida a surprised look." Saj!"

Kral nodded with respect, "Kral, of The House of Mok."  He introduced himself.  Then hearing Saj he laughed.  "Realy?"  He looked at her.

Nodding she drank down her glass of water and hailed the waiter for another.

G'Trell felt like she wanted to disappear. " Please excuse my sister, Its still in debate that she has any manners at all.  But for the record yes I am "free" as she put it."

"Pfft! I have plenty of manners!" she said then burping to add a sarcastic touch to the statement.

Kral gave a Klingon Grin.  "Manners are not to much concern, but can you tell a story?"

Of course he meant her story telling abilities.

G'Trell smiled. "he obviously was not here when I was drunk and sang of Gilligan world."

<kira>

Sajida laughed and let Kral continue

"In my house, the ability of a woman to tell a story is important.  As well as her ability to remember it."  He said, though he wasn't really suggesting that they become close like that, he let it be known it was an interest to him.

G'Trell smiled and shook her head.  "Interesting, normally its the ability of a body other than the mind that attracts most men."  G'Trell could not help but be impressed.  It sounded a lot like her old house the house of Hil'Vok.  Her fathers house.  She had read about it briefly on Qonos.  She took a sip of blood wine that was sat in front of her. "So does your house enjoy poetry?"

Kral chuckled, "When the need for mating arises.  But mostly it is the stories and the House History.  The Tales of our Bloodkin is always best shared and the tell of our bloodline's greatest ancestor is something that is told in story to every House member."

GTrell smiled " Well i am afraid I have no house nor any story that would interest you.  Unless you wanna here about the time I tried to sell my sister Serina to ferengis so I could buy a fighter."

“Unless you all want a rendition of a song ill make up for Jeral's Love get me a kegger of bloodwine" Sajida said smiling heavily as she thought of Jeral

<Kira>

G'Trell chuckled, " very well"  She waved the waiter over and paid for a keg.  "lets hear it"  she said smiling up at him.  But something in her mind clicked and she felt left out.  Not having a house of her own or knowing of any ancestors of her dead one.  She settled down to hear yet again of some one else’s.  The fire in her eyes died a bit as she inwardly wrote him off.  He would not be interested in a rouge like her anyways.  She then reminded herself sternly that she was not looking anyways.  Men where trouble and she had had her fill of that.  She could take care of herself.

Kral begin the story first with the setting.  It was in the last days of the Hur'Q occupation on Qo'noS.  His ancestor yoH'loD was a man who had lived his youth fighting the creatures.  He had fought and survived for many years.  His youth an advantage against the opponents who could not move like the young Klingons did.  But it was the last battle he told.  Soon he entered the story speaking it as if he were this ancestor.  He had actuualy dreamed the story aout before.  Not he revisited...   Like rivers the blood flowed. A young army of Klingon warriors shed it's blood before them. These monstrous creatures killed without mercy. Yet yoH'loD knew even as he was being hunted like an animal by the Hur'q, that the resistance would win even if the last warrior
must call out to Sto-vo-kor for all the warriors in his or her last breath. The Klingon people would not be conquered, even into the afterlife.  The resistance had been fighting the hur'q since he was a boy, his mother had left him in the hands of his nurse who kept him safe even after his mother was killed in battle. It had been only natural
that he had joined the fight against their invaders as soon has he could use a blade.

Kral paused a moment to order more warnog and some bloodwine for them.  Then continued...

He brought his bat'leth up as he splashed threw the cold water of a running river. Half way across he heard the Hur'q coming in close behind him. yoH'loD was not worried though because this is where their stand would be.  yoH'loD suddenly roared as he made it across the river and turned with the bat'leth that had been made by his father. The bloodstones bordering the handles already stained dark by the blood of hur'q he
had fought as a teen.

At his roar thousands of strong young warriors who had been waiting burst out to attack. yoH'loD who had only been a few feet ahead of the Hur'q was already in the middle of the fight. He had suffered a wound to the shoulder but it did not stop him as with all the fury of the Klingon race he fought these creatures, attacking at their most vulnerable spots which by now he knew without thinking.  The hur'q fought with energy weapons but if you were quick they could not hit you, which was why most the warriors left were young. If you came in close and in the middle of them they were more likely to shot each other in their numbers than the young Klingons who could fight while keeping low. Though some of the hur'q did carry bladed weapons they were larger than even the largest Klingon male and while could still move quickly they could not move as low as the Klingons. A Klingon could take them down by cutting their legs from under them.

This was how they fought. yoH'loD rolled between the legs of one hur'q and as he did he sent his blade into the vulnerable spot beneath the hur'q's armor. He roared with victory as the creatures blood spilled to stench the soil and he went for the next one never worrying about death because if he were to die now he would die a warriors death unconqured. They fought for a long time until the soil was burried beneath the bodies and blood of hur'q and Klingons alike. For victory no hur'q was left standing, but no Klingon was left standing. Not even yoH'loD who had been cut and torn in the battle.

He lay in the pile of bodies his blade still held in his hands as his mind wandered to his wife who was with child. He hoped at least they survived as he looked to the stars and let out a cry to the afterlife for the young warriors who died in this battle with him. Then he to started for the after life...

Finaly Kral looked at the women, "Afterwards his mate found him.  She made the oath that his story would not be forgoten.  She told it to her son who first started this House and took the land his father had battled on as the lands of our House.  His story was continued on down the line and now is told here.  We still have his batletH protected on our lands.  Every bloodkin is told of his story beneath it."  He finished and downed what was now his third mug of the warnog.

G'Trell listened fascinated with the story.  But the she could not help but think of how much Tarlin would have loved to hear it.  How he would have dream to be a warrior fighting against such ravish beings.  It was all gone,  He was dead and those dreams where for not.  She smiled up at Kral. " That was a great story,  I will remember it for when I am away at battle."

Kral nodded, realizing he had not paced himself with the drinks while he was telling the story.  "Then even to the end of my House it will be remembered."  He seemed pleased with that.  It was a relief in a sense.

"Aye it was indeed a good one worthy of telling again and again. I must remember that one" she said "Well then G'Trell feel a little better?"

G'Trell looked at Sajida " Yes,  My sister is last on my mind at the moment."  She still looked down cast.

TAG Any One in the bar.

Post by SajidaKajada on Feb 25th, 2005, 2:24am

"Well im guessing she will tell you when she's good and ready" Sajida said "Now where is my mug of bloodwine!" she called out to the nearest waiter

After cleaning off the platters of food with Kira and G'Trell Sajida sat back in her chair and sighed "Now that was the best dinner I have had in a long while. Now i'm feeling tired once again..."

Tag anyone here sitting with me to answer: <?>

Sajida yawned and drank down the last remnants of her bloodwine. "Well then i'll be off I didn't get that much sleep last night anyway for obvious reasons and the last matches will be packed so getting a seat will be a must tomorrow"

Sajida got up from the table and stretched "Alright folks i'll see you in the morning. Kira come by G'Trell and my quarters perhaps we cal all go together"

Kira: <?>

"Good i'll see you all tomorrow!"

Waving to them as she left Sajida headed for the turbolift and called for the deck where her quarters were. Once she arrived she slumped onto her bed and sighed.

The cat crawled up to the end of the bed and sat there looking at Sajida. She was beginning to miss Jeral since she was used to talking to him before she drifted off. Also Kira being worried and G'Trell's problem with her sister was on her mind.

Managing to sleep after a few minutes of falling into the bed she called the computer to turn off the lights and rest.

EDIT: Had a brainstorm and had to post something to coincide with her getting to the bar late nite
