Title: Ta'pez vs Talvur" Post by Ta`pez HoD on Feb 27th, 2005, 11:40pm =/\= Xavier Fleet Yards, Section Blue Two, Ring Two =/\= Tal'Vur and Ta'pez had run into each other at the Wall of Honor to retrieve their weapons. They had both stopped facing each other and were staring a hole through the other's face. Ta'pez was outraged that this human had pratically gotten away with scanning him, as he had found out after the fact, and was not in the brig. Tal'Vur was angry that the klingons had raised a fuss about him scanning their HoD and tried to get him locked in the bridge. It had taken some footwork to avoid that mess. They both reached for their weapons and pulled them off the wall. From the looks between the two anyone who was looking at them could easily tell that the match between them would have no love lost. Both as a formality and an insult James muttered, "Best of luck, dog of the house of Chang." "The same to you, federation petaQ, " Ta'pez clenched through his teeth, "be fortunate that this event is in federation space." After another brief staredown the two silently made their way to the ring. Ta'pez was already angry and his cold and level hearted look indicate that his rage was already fueled. Althogh he didnt show it too much, those who knew him well could notice. The two opponens took opposite sides and looked across at each other. "First blood would be too short of a pleasure, and you have already shown your technical skill" Ta'pez said. " To select knockout is my choice." -"I wouldn't have it any other way..." The judge in the middle of all this was an older, expirienced Klingon whose graying hair beard had seen many fights and it knew when two opponents were about to go. "Knockout Match Ta'pez vs Talvur" he said loudly and quickly dropping the rest of introduction as he was both weary and unarmed. No later had he said that the two opponents stormed at each other with batleths drawn. tbc... |
Title: Re: Ta'pez vs Talvur" Post by Ta`pez HoD on Feb 28th, 2005, 12:50am To those in the stands it was soon very clear that the two were fighting more ten just for the 3rd place in the tournament. Rumors had already spread about the incident the previous day wher QolavaraH and Kierran had fought. Ta'pez had launched a series of attacks right away. He was fast and quick about it, not much was lost on form - it was all function, all fury. Talvur had been taken aback a bit by the initial onslaught but he had overcome that challange with his own zeal. That Zeal had often cost him much whether it was through his eager tongue or action, this time it was actually benefitial, it kept Talvur in the game, fighting and hoping the Klingon would tire out. James had almost forgotten about the tournament and hadn't stepped up his training until the few months before it began, and then the last mission happened. He had blood on his hands and quite a bit of rage pent up. This klingon before him had merely knocked on the door by trying to get him stuck in that darn brig...James was not going to be easy on him, and he knew that Ta'pez wasn't going to let him get away easy either... Tal'Vur quickly recovered from the blow and launched a series of lighting blows to both the left and right sides of Ta'pez, hoping to catch him off balance. He wasn't interested in knocking him out just yet, more so to inflict as much punishment on the body before him. |
Title: Re: Ta'pez vs Talvur" Post by TalVur on Feb 28th, 2005, 11:52am The balance had been regained after a good thirty minutes, both opponents by now had been bleeding from the numerous wounds in the short but intensive match. Although Ta'pez was being hampered by the many injuries he had sustained fighting G'Trell, Wolfe and others he was making it up with speed and lethality. The human Qel was not pushover either. Each blow was answered with a block and although Ta'pez was on the offensive and attacked more Tal'Vur had replied with fewer but more thought out counter attacks. James was enjoying how this match was going, more so than for the simple reason that his pponent was bleeding just slightly more than him but for the fact that it was an intense fight, probably better than any he had faced. It was obvious that the two were growing tired as their attacks wern't coming with the blazing speed or ferocity that they had in the beginning, but neither fighter was hurting too much to go on or even willing to give up just yet. There was still a passion in both of their hearts. Ta'pez had changed his fighting style, this was noted by many - there was now a slight differeration in his dance. Obviously he could not change it over night. Although TalVur had the better planing, since Ta'pez was operating on pure rage, he could not over come the skill of the HoD. Had this been a match at the begining Ta'pez would have shut out the doctor right away. However now at the end the Qel had practised and Ta'pez was hampered by the many injuries he had recieved so far. All in all it had made this tournament even more interesting. To be continued... |
Title: Re: Ta'pez vs Talvur" Post by Ta`pez HoD on Mar 1st, 2005, 6:13pm Talvur had thought to have won. In a critical moment he had seen an opening, and pursued it. Ta'pez had blocked at the last moment, but the blade had scraped the armor of the klingon HoD. Talvur elbowed Ta'pez while their blades were locked loosing the grip his oponent slightly. The oportunity was there, tilting his batleth upward he pieced the patched up armor once more - woulding Ta'pez close to his previous injury. Ta'pez roared in anger and pain and head butted Talvur. |
