Tournament Rules - 1. All participants must be current members of Bravofleet.
- 2. Deadline for sign up is January 30, 2005. The tournament will take place over the last three weeks in February 2004.
- 3. All participants must have permission from their CO to compete.
- 4. All participants can only post from the competition's designated site during the tournament. This is to avoid fleet wide story splits. (Your character cannot be both on their ship and the host ship at the same time)
- 5. Participants will be randomly placed into brackets depending on the number of participants signed up. A maximum number of 64 participants will be set for the tournament.
- 6. A player is only allowed to have one character particpate in the tournament.
- 7. There will be a limit of one representative per ship. Past that spots will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
- 8. The tournament will take place over three days (game time) or three weeks (real time). The first day/week will cover all the qualifying matches. The second day/week will cover the quarter final and semi-final matches. The third day/week will cover the finals match and award ceremonies. A week of real time is given to allow all participants a chance to post character interaction between matches.
- 9. Each day is broken up into sections and participents will be informed when time advances.
- 10. Winners of each match will be determined by a combination of skill determined by the character bio, fighting style, and a random die roll. Details on this system are posted elsewhere.
- 11. Winners of matches will be posted over the week and spread out depending on the number of participants. Players are encouraged to post character reactions before or after matches.
- 12. All results are final and are not subject to protest. Awards will be given for first, second, third and fourth place. There will also be an award for the most honor, participent's favorite, and for best roleplayer.
- 13. The judges for this tournament will also be the moderators and in the event of unforeseen circumstances have the right to make final decisions affecting game play. This includes, but is not limited to, disqualifying players, moderating posts, or outright canceling the tournament if needed.
