Sounds like you have the basics. Personally, I like the idea of the loser of the match writing the first draft of each match after the pair in the match talk about it. How you lose can be just as dramatic, if not more, than how you win, and if the loser of each match takes the lead role, then it spreads the work and helps keep the creative juices flowing. But don't let the tourney end when and if you lose. I know that the first year the most fun I had was sitting in the bar at night meeting and socializing, in my own Klingon way, with the other fighters. I remember having a chat with Tauvits after he lost. He was shocked I was so cheerful since I lost the first match.
