Ing had found a geneticist, whose skills could easily be spared from the mess of wounds being generated by the tournament. They were in a back room of the med center, as Ing explained what he needed. "What I need the most help on is a genetic expression test on K'Hare totlh's DNA," Ing explained. "Focusing on the ears." Ing produced one of Ta'pez's infamous flyers. "We need to know if his DNA codes for ears that look like this." The doctor nodded. "Ok, we can do that. If you just want the ears, and we only need to check their expression as an infant, the test should be able to finish by tonight." "Good," Ing said. "I'm supposed to have a report prepared on this by tomorrow morning, so if you could get that test running right away, it'll finish in time for me to include the results. Once you have that running… This is all to be kept strictly confidential, you understand? Eyes only for me, K'Hare, be'eQaraH, station security officers here on Xavier involved in the investigation, and Q'olavraH." Ing waited for the doctor's nod. "Ok, then I also need a test to see if that Klingon girl that was just brought in here is the daughter of K'Hare and Q'olavraH. Obviously, the results of that test - or even the fact that such a test has been run in the first place - could pose a major political problem with the Klingon House of K'brd'Lok, since Q'olavraH's mate is a lord of that house. Hence the need for secrecy until we know more." Ing made sure the doctor understood. "Meanwhile, I will be using your lab to compare the genetic structures of the surviving version of Khoal and the dead one in the morgue. If that's ok with you." The doctor nodded his assent, and the two began to get to work unraveling the mysteries of the duplicate Klingons.
