Kira walk into the arena in her new dracanian house fighting uniform. her back fins free and in full of color picking up her BetleH she was down to the Ring stepping in wait for her opponent to arrive.
Jason stood by the side of the ring, his ceremonial fighting cloak rapped around him. He was handed his batleH and one of his guards leaned over his shoulder and whispered into his ear.
"Are you sure" He asked, and the guard nodded at him
Jason stepped forward into the ring, his cloak was pulled from hi shoulders as he moved forward.
Kira with two eyes closed. says a pledge of honour to her family, while slowly turning her BetleH in a small circle loosening up her arms for a match to come. " to the house of naul please give me the strength to do the houses will." seeing Jason pepper walk toward the ring " stop the betleh and open all other two eyes" try to get a feel for this human..in a soft voice" it time."
Jason never said a word, and unlike his other matches he seemed to lack confidence. He entered the ring and never really looked at his opponent. He just looked at the markings on his weapon, the etched blue family name in the gold and silver blade.
He looked up and bowed his head
Kira look at him he was also tall for a human looked quite strong. yet something was missing from the last time she saw him fight. she could not put her finger on it.
dam her ability to under stand humans would get her killed or worse one day..
kira step toward him "Jason Pepper from house Pir'up Pa. I am Kira naul Gordon for the dracanian house of Naul." how do you wish to fight this contest.?"
her voice strong and clear and with most up right respect." your last fight was to first blood is that the way you wish to fight now?"
"To first blood" he said as he lifted his weapon in an almost salute to his opponent.
he bowed his head once more then stepped back and took up his fighting stance
kira nodded it was not that she was not for the taking of blood, but if it was the task than so be it. turning to the judges" this contest is to first blood" she did a quick bow to the judges, and than to pepper. her left hand touch her heart in a dracanian salute.
and took her stance her betleh came up to the ready, and her back fins flatten out..
Jason tried to clear his mind, but the words circled in his head. He stood one foot behind the other and began to swing the batletH. He then moved forward for his first strike, swinging hard to the right
kira pressed her left foot down for the expected blow. bring her weapon to the left. the two weapon hit with the song of metal on metal spark flew from the first impact .
kira felt the bite the blow had. and smile. " good strike Jason lets dances"
she started to circle her opponent to the right. being her weapon to block the strike that pepper had to give trying to find his pattern. looking for a weakness. her back fins flush with purple and to vibrate with excitement.
Jason moved back for another strike, he threw in a combination of moves. After his 7th blow he realised he back was turned and he was open for a perfect blow, so he turned quickly to face his opponent, hoping that she hadn't swung for him
Kira found a mark of a beat in which to swing at. and begin to take to offencesive. with a double combo to the left .
than Pepper did the unexpected in his last strike his back came open. Kira went for the strike but the swing was wrong.
Pepper had already began to move his blade, he would be able to save himself, but his position would be in a bad way to make another attack.
as Kira felt the weapon hit, nodding in appraisal to his speed. she did a quick under hand swing heading for his gut.
Jason moved his waist backwards and pushed his batletH down to fend off the shot, as he looked down at her weapon he noticed it had changed a little. He stood back and lowered his weapon.
"It would seem I did not move fast enough"
he bowed his head and reached down to his gut. his fingers came back up and he presented them to his opponent, his finger tips were covered with blood.
Kira felt the impact wounding if her strike had been true began the next when she heard his voice say "he was not fast enough." she smelt the blood." You fought well, I have been honour in have as a opponent" again she bowed to him and than turn to the judge and raise her betleH.
Jason mind wondered again, this time he thought why did he let the thoughts of his brother distract him, then he just worried about his brother. He turned back to his guards who wrapped his cloak around him. They took his weapon and replaced it into its carrying case. For the house of Pir'up Pa, this fight was over
Kira than lower the Betleh as walk over to her corner lower the weapon to a silk cloth and wipe the blade clean Sandra who had been in the corner took the cloth and folded it .
Kira who hade her battle won was feeling with emotion of pride the warrior fever was filling her logic brain. she than walk to the wall of honour, and place her weapon back on the wall. the house Naul was to go to the next level.
than Kira turn to look at the ring. to she the next fight was just beginning to form.
