Kieran had left the arena and headed off to the legion for a quick lunch before heading back to find out whom his next opponent would be in the Round of 8. On his way to the Legion, he stopped at a computer terminal and entered his access codes to find out why Reynolds had defaulted on his match. A few seconds of searching found the answer he was seeking. He had been arrested for brandishing his sword outside the arena area.
What an unhonorable way to lose a match. Kieran closed the terminal and his connection with the XFY comnet and wondered as he made his way to the Legion if Martok would distance himself and his family from Captain Reynolds.
Arriving at his destination, Kieran found an empty table and ordered scrambled eggs and sausage, and an Irish Coffee. He was still fuming about his default victory over Reynolds when a shadow appeared over him. A small scroll-like object was dropped in front of him, and then the shadow disappeared. Turning, Kieran saw the back of what appeared to be a humanoid wearing all black walking out of the Legion. Kieran was about to follow when the server arrived with his breakfast. Kieran turned and thanked the server, and then opened the scroll. It was made of real paper.
It had writing on it, in Federation Standard. All it said was We shall see after your next match.
Curious, Kieran tucked the paper away and decided that it would be too late to follow, instead, he would set up some security protections for himself, and talk to his allies here if need be. Q'ol, being K'rahl's mate, could be of use if need be.
Kieran dug into his food,a nd after a few minutes, got up, scanned the crowd and left, heading for the Wall of Honor, to see who his next opponent would be.
