the meH'Haj arrives

Fresh from the yards the meH'Haj had been released into the hands of it's crew who had taken it straight to Xavier Fleet Yards where the HoD and majority of the senior officers were waiting.

The ship was running on a sceleton crew, many replacements had not arrived and the ship had lost quiet a few capable hands in the lower ranks to transfers.

It was common practise to raid from the body of personell of a ship confined to the yards. The fact that the meH'Haj was among the largest only added to this.

Ch'regha sogh la', the ships 2nd XO was commanding the ship. It was not often one had the honor of commanding such a large ship.

"HoD we are in range" notified one of the mangs at helm.

"Drop out of warp and hail the Federation starbase." Ch'regha commanded.

"This is the IKS meH'Haj, we are requesting docking instructions."

The grey-furred Tellarite was suffering from quite a hang over as he managed the controls. He had been using the tournament as a great excuse to get into an old habit. Work hard during the day, play hard during.

The comm channel 'blared' in his ears as it beeped an incoming transmission. The larger capital ships were being routed directly to him.

He slammed his hand down onto the panel to open the channel.

Ch'regha: *through comm* This is the IKS meH'Haj, we are requesting docking instructions.

Gheuty: This is Hask Gheuty at the Xavier DMO. We read you Mayhadge. Special arrangements are made for all Klingon ships, proceed to the grouping of ships at the coordinates I'm sending. Dock with the other vessels, there is regular ferry service to and from the base.

"Understood, meH'Haj out" Ch'regha said.

He turned towards his helm officer but could see that the mang was already doing as instructed.

The meH'Haj slowed down, it seemed like a controlled collision as the the large klingon vessel aproached the even larger Base, however for those ships that were in orbit of the base the meH'Haj was indeed overpowering and massive.

"Inform the HoD that we are here." Ch'regha commanded.

Ta'pez awoke to the beeping comm, it was a most difficult morning.

Drinking, fighting and his many wounds made it a most painfull awakening.

Although the tournament had only lasted for a litle more then 3 days. It had taken quiet toll on the HoD.

"HoD, the meH'Haj is here and avaiting your command." the comm crackled.

"who is this" Ta'pez said having missed the first few beepes.

" Ch'regha sogh la my lord. I have brought the meH'Haj from the Yards @ Klach D'kel Brakt like you commanded. " his comm responded.

"Stand ready, I will inspect the ship in the afternoon." Ta'pez replied.

"Understood HoD" Ch'regha responded.
