OFF: I am reconstructing a post I lost between myself and the XFY XO.
This takes place at about 1 AM.
ON:
Ness reached Deck 221 and tried the door switch for the deck above him. It was locked. He turned and saw a security officer watching him.
"Why can't I continue?" Ness asked.
"I am to escort you through the turbolift past these decks. They are classified," the security officer said.
Ness stepped out of the Jeffries tube, "You know I've climbed 2179 decks."
"Really? From the bottom to the top?" the security officer inquired.
"Yeah, K'Vok is punishing me," Ness replied.
"What did you do to deserve this?" the security officer asked as they entered the turbolift.
"I did not fight honorably at a tournament match," Ness said, "I tripped Captain Reynolds."
"That definetly isn't honorable," the security officer said as the turbolift came to a halt, "Well, you know what you have to do."
"Climb a lot more decks," Ness replied, "Good night, Ensign."
"Good luck on tomorrow's tournament," the security officer added.
"No, I lost the tournament match I am being punished for," Ness said as he started climbing again at Deck 217.
