Kieran made his way towards the arena, ready to do battle against K'tar, expecting the Klingon to try to take revenge for Kieran winning against his HoD.
Others were also making their way to the arena, to see the final matches, some singulary, some in groups. As Kieran walked along, some one started to walk with him. Kieran turned ever so slightly to his left and noticed he was Starfleet, wearing red. In his neutral voice, he said, "Can I help you Commander?"
"You have done excedingly well for yourself during this tournament, Commander O'Donnell. I want to wish you good luck on your final round, and also, find me afterwards, I have a proposal for you."
"And you would be...?"
"In the Legion after your fight. You will find me, and I think you might like my proposal." And just as suddenly, Kieran was walking alone again, the nameless Commander having slowed his step to let Kieran get ahead. There would be time to deal with this afterwards, Kieran said to himself, and put it out of his mind, and concentrated on the match at hand.
