After helping clean up the Legion as best she could and paying off the bartender Sajida went back to her quarters to get changed since her uniform soaked up the bloodwine. Walking on in she found G'Trell sitting on the sofa sulking.
"Still angry with T'Lai"
G'Trell looked up and smiled weakly at er friend. " I am not angry with her Saj." she sighed " I am angry with myself."
"I know, but you shouldnt be" she said sitting next to her "T'Lai said he has no interest in her and from what you told me he seems like he chose you 100%"
G'Trell shook her head. " Saj, I made a promise to Tapez HoD. If she has interest in him and I know of it, it is a dishonor. I have no rights to him. Hell I barely know him!" She slamed a fist down hard on the chair arm it cracked. G'Trell took a breath."I am sorry Saj. I didn't mean to get upset. But look at me. What do I have to offer anyway?"
"It's alright G'Trell, and don't put yourself down if he can look past your history you must have something to offer and better to get the anger out than bottle it up. I guess concerning M'Rek you will have to take it a day at a time if you made a promise to the HoD. But the matter of the heart only you and M'Rek can decide that"
"Matters of the heart" G'Trell sneered, " All my heart ever did was bring me trouble, Everything I love gets taken away or left behind. I should count myself luck this ended before I got to involved." G'Trells voice softened as she looked to Sajida. " At least I got you still and Rina. But soon you too will be left behind." She sighed.
"Well at least you shall see me again in the future just you should trust your feelings with M'Rek I still say things can turn out good for you in the long run" she said putting an arm around G'Trell. "Im just too much of an optimist since I am always looking on the bright side of things."
G'Trell smiled a little. " I dare not dishonor my friends or the house of Chang. I dare not go against your wise advise neither. So here stands the cross roads. How I wish I could go with you." She sighed again. "But I am tired of running, My decision will be made in due time. Until then I shall hold off on any actions that may be considered hostaile to T'Lai."
Sajida hugged G'Trell since she understood how she was feeling. Sometimes decisions like these could not be made too easily and Sajida imagined how she would feel if Jeral and her were in the same place. It would drive her to get all riled up as well.
"Alright then lets try to forget about the whole thing for a while and get changed since we are soaking in bloodwine. We should make the most of the tournament while it lasts" Sajida said with a smile.
G'Trell nodded and the two went to grab some clean clothes to wear for the next matchup.
