Dinner and Goodbyes « on: Mar 3rd, 2005, 12:55am »   ON:   >> The Legion <<   Sajida drinking her bloodwine felt someone tap her on the shoulders. Turning around to see who it was she saw it was Tlai looking somewhat pensive like M'rek   T'Lai wasn't paying too much attention to Ta'pez's conversation, for her mind was focused elsewhere.   : G'Trell looked too but said nothing.  She was still not sure where she stood with T'Lai at the moment.  Plus she felt the tension bettween M'Rek and her.  It was almost tangable.     M'Rek saw her and became very tense.  He remained silent, and drank from his tankard.   T'Lai looked over to Ta'pez.  "Sooo what's our next mission, now that the ship has been refitted? " She asked.   "Patrol." Ta'pez answered. "Give the crew some time to grow into their new roles."     "Sounds rather boring if you ask me" Sajida added to get the conversation going "So Ta'pez where is my friendly bout coming up? You just have tonight you know" she said with a wink.   T'Lai sighed.  "But patrolling is sooo incredibly boring..." She said.  "Isn't there something else we can do big brother?" She asked, feeling a little lousey.   "New roles?"  M'Rek questioned queiter than usual.   : G'Trell heard Tapez Hod's voice and cringed a bit.  She was not sure if T'Lai had told him of their falling out.  Most likely not.  But still she could not help but feel as if she had betrayed him some how.     "Frankly I had enough exitement for the time being "Ta'pez said, turning to M'rek "There will be a lot of new crew, since downtime has a tendency to shuffle things around."     T'Lai looked at Saj.  "So when is the wedding gonna be?" She asked.   "This month. The moment when I arrive back on Excalibur the planning begins hopefully you all can make it if not i'll understand since you need to break in the new crew after all" she said with a smile as she drank down some bloodwine.   M'Rek nodded, "I will still serve same position?"  He asked, avoiding looking towads t'lai so that he was less distracted.   The crew that alrady has been onboard will stay where they are at." Ta'pez responded. "However we'll see many new comers."     : G'Trell smiled faintly at her friend. "I will come if Tapez HoD allows it."   "Ah I might let Ta'pez go, and I can babysit the ship for him while he's gone." She said with a chuck;e/   Ta'pez  added. "G'trells team has not been fully assembled so she might get to sneak out to the  Excall after all." he turned towards Sajida. "I am afraid the rest of us willbe less fortunate."     "Indeed." She said.   "It is alright i'll still send you the video recording for your benefit you are close friends after all. So then when do I get my little sparring with you Ta'pez? Next year?" she added trying to push him.   M'Rek appeared disappointed,  "Then we should use our last dinner wisely."   T'Lai ignored M'Rek's comment and without thinking she rolled her eyes at him.  "You mean our last meal together, you dope." She said.   "I am afraid that will have to wait Sajida." Ta'pez said "Separ will have my head if she sees me in the area."     M'Rek growled lowly in reponse to T'Lai's remark and muttered something in Hirogen under his breath.   : G'Trell turnned an anger eye onto T'Lai. "A bit uncalled for.  Then again I noticed manners are not your strong point."  G'Trell got up and left the bar.     Sajida laughed and knocked back the last of her tankard "Aye Ta'pez I know you can't best me in combat anyways" she said jokingly while ordering Ta'pez a tankard "The least I can do is get you something since you came in 3rd it's still an accomplishment"   T'Lai watched as G'Trell left.  She then looked at M'Rek with a slight glare.   M'Rek ignored T'Lai's glare looking back to where G'Trell had left.  He then started to get up.   Ta'pez chuckled. "A present eh?   T'Lai looked at Saji at the mention of present.  "Oh! I almost forgot to give this to you." She said and handed her a wrapped box.  "Its a wedding present." She said.   The box was only a few inches wide by 4 feet long.  It was wrapped in beautiful silver paper and was tied neatly with a ribbon.   Putting down her mug she took the box from T'Lai "You shouldnt have even after all that arguing from before I didn't think you would be talking to me again. I am sorry for it anyways I shouldn't have butted into your affairs" she then unwrapped it   (TBC)

Re: Dinner and Goodbyes « Reply #1 on: Mar 3rd, 2005, 12:55am »   He stopped himself looking at Saj though.  Then remebering he pulled out a blade, beautifuly designed and handed it to her.   It was a 18th century double bladed katana that was in mint condition.  "Its a human weapon called a Katana.  This is a rare antique, I thought you would enjoy it and it would be a nice addition to your collection." She said.   "Exquisite...." Sajida replied rather breathtaken with the sword "I shall treasure this always thank you T'Lai" she added while bowing her head to her slightly.     Sajida took the blade from M'rek and thanked him after unwrapping T'Lai's present and giving him a hug which somewhat took him off guard. "You all are too much maybe I shall end up serving with you soon enough"   "You're welcome... and I am not mad at you, for you knew nothing about what was going on, so you are forgiven.  How ever... the other two... remains to be said." She said, choosing her words wisely.   "Well said, I just hope you all can sort it out in the future. Now then..." she said while raising her glass "To your victory Ta'pez and to those who fought with honor!"   T'Lai raised her glass with Sajida.   M'Rek tensed at the hint T'ai gave and tried to keep from letting it distract him.  He raised his tankart as well.   T'Lai looked at M'Rek and winked at him.  "So are you excited about boarding the refitted version of meH'Haj?" She asked, deliberately getting his attention.   M'Rek was taken back by the question.  He was silent a moment before finally answering.  "Am 'looking forward' to seeing the ship I was assigned to and have heard about."   "So am I.  I have never boarded the ship before.. so this will be a new experience for me as well." She said.     T'Lai then stood up and bowed to Ta'pez.  "I must go and prepare to board our ship now.  I guess I will see you when we get there." She said.  She then walked over to Saji and gave her a tight friendly hug.  "It was a pleasure to have met you." She said.   M'Rek simply nodded and watched her hug Saj.   "Same for me as well T'Lai, I wish you the best in your journey on the meHHaj shes a fine ship and in the future our paths will cross again" she said while returning the hug   "Thank you." She said she then walked over to M'Rek and stood infront of him.   M'Rek stood there meeting her eyes and wating to see what she had to say.   She looked at him for a very long moment, then bowed elegantly.  "I will see you on the meH'Haj." She said.  "Perhaps one day we will work out our differences." She said in a respectful tone of voice.   M'Rek nodded, "Perhaps.."  He said shortly nodded back with respect.   She then left the room and headed towards the docking bays.   M'Rek then turned to Saj, "It will be a long year, until we meet again.  Hopefully not to long."   Ta'pez: " Perhaps you can bring hubby along next year."     Sajida smiled and gave M'rek a hug "I certainly hope so! I had fun when you were around and got into some rather strange situations" she said with a wink "And of course ill bring him even if I have to drag him off the Excalibur! But i'll miss you too Ta'pez I didn't get to see you much but it was sufficient enough."   Ta'pez " I share the sentiment."     M'Rek nodded, Chuckling a bit.  well what sounded like might be a chuckle.   "Well like M'rek said there is always next year" knocking back the rest of the tankards contents she left it on the bar "I'll make sure you all see that wedding one way or another give you something to look forward to"   Ta'pez nodded and got up.     It was time for him to go as well.     "Next time I will try not to be in the hall to trip you."  He gave a klingon grin.   Sajida bellylaughed as the two left side by side and she turned to speak with the bartender and pay off her tab before she went off to say goodbye to a few friends then to find Kira for departing in the morning.   He watched her go and then got up looking to Ta'pez now.  "HoD...  There is something I wish to speak about later.  It is... personal."   Ta'pez  turned to M'rek. "Seek me out tomorow once we are on the ship."     M'Rek nodded, "Yes sir."   "I will be aboard in a few.  I need to get my batletH real quick."  He then bowed his head in respect and turned to leave.   JP G'Trell T'Lai Ta'pez Sajida M'Rek
