Title: IKS meH'Haj arrives Post by K`Hare totlh on Feb 8th, 2006, 2:25pm OFF: I just finished moving across state lines. Great timing, eh? But I am in the new location and catching up on the posts and will be doing the final reviews of characters and fighters tonight. After that, new attendees can sign up and I might be able to review them to let them arrive late, but no more fighters will be let in. I will do this final review starting in about 10 hours from this post. Everyone should check their bios and fix anything that looks odd. Make sure you are in the right section if reviewed (fighter or attendee), and make sure your playmode says the right thing. Also, check your combat settings if you are fighting in the tourney or the sparring room. This is the thread for the meH'Haj arriving. If someone else started one that I haven't see yet (I am behind reading but will catch up in the next two days) please post the other thread URL here and I will lock this one. But a few of the people riding with me have indicated they expect me to post the arrival. So this is just a quicky... everyone should embellish their entrance themselves in this thread. ON: The evaluations were done and now it was just a matter of getting a few last reports in and filed. Satian had just sent the notice that contact with Serenity had been established and the ship would be docking in a few minutes. "Ing, relieve all members of the KDB and Crazy Horse crew from any duty stations they are on except for the bridge crew. Return control to the meH'Haj department heads and remove your hooks from the computer." He looked around. Valkris had already been relieved and was gone, preparing her personal items to leave the ship. "Ing, also send a text message to the base, tell them I will come off the ship late, in about an hour. Any special arrangements for me should be handled then." K'Hare had learned that as a judge, there was usually a security escort and other special treatment waiting for him at the airlock. He saw no need to make some security officer wait on edge for an hour because he 'lost' a judge. OFF: OK. Everyone get off ta'pez's ship. For everyone else, the ship has the participants from the meH'Haj, Klach D'kel Brakt, the USS Crazy Horse, and the IKS D'bloq on it. After our fun ride here, http://bfkc.batlh.com/cgi-bin/BFKC/YaBB.pl?board=bd4betleH I wonder how we are going to get back to KDB because we aren't taking the meH'Haj! |
Title: Re: IKS meH'Haj arrives Post by Taj`vl on Feb 8th, 2006, 6:00pm Ness had been back in his quarters, when the new programs he had placed in the computer under Tucker's name detected their arrival at Serenity. Ness picked up two isolinear chips and placed them inside his uniform. Then he walked to the airlock and stepped up to the security checkpoint. Almost at the same time, Taj'vl left the guest quarters he had been assigned on the meH'Haj, and went to the airlock. OFF: Just getting them both over for now. EDIT: How stupid do I get.... Ness doesn't need his bat'leth, he's an Attendee this year! |
Title: Re: IKS meH'Haj arrives Post by Valkris on Feb 8th, 2006, 6:10pm Valkris had received the message that they were about to dock and that they were to leave the ship as soon as they were docked, she returned to her quarters and packed her few things and picking up the case that she had brought with her but as yet had not opened since she had taken her Mothers Daqtagh out of it, it contained all of her mothers posetions including her armor and bet'letH amoungst other things. She put the case back down opened it and took out the bet'letH she had already made an enemy of the man she loved by wearing the Dartagh so as far as she was concerned it would make no difference to use her bet'letH now it also carried the same symbol for some reason. Having resealed the case and shouldered the weapon she left the quarters and headed for the Airlock so that she could get off this ship and away from those on it for a short while. Once the airlock opened she followed the others off the ship and waited her turn at the security check point. |
Title: Re: IKS meH'Haj arrives Post by QolavraH on Feb 8th, 2006, 9:28pm Q'olavraH stepped off of the shuttle onto the base with a good sized group of Klingons and others from the meH'Haj. She took a swig of the bottle of bloodwine she'd brought along and moved to a computer terminal that was not in use. A message awaited her, but she would look at it once she found where she was quartered. She checked the station map and moved toward the arena. Hanging her blade was the most important thing to take care of at the moment, then quarters, her message, food and most important, more to drink. Q'olavraH la' Support Ship HoD KDB |
Title: Re: IKS meH'Haj arrives Post by toreQ on Feb 8th, 2006, 11:00pm After some minor buisness with some of his House members was over, toreQ had sent them on their way to the joH. For the time being qul'yIt would remain without the watchers, as much as toreQ distasted it. He just hopped that he wouldn't come to regreat it. However that buisness was done for now, and he had a Tourney to go to... the experienced weHwI' warrior now moved along, enough excitement running threw him that the limp in his leg was almost non-existant. On his back he carrie dhis batletH, wrapped in fur. He exited the meH'Haj to meet up with one of the officers who accompanied the combatants to take their blade to the wall... <Tag anyone who might play the officer or I can NPC> |
Title: Re: IKS meH'Haj arrives Post by Tucker on Feb 10th, 2006, 5:39am Tucker was familiar with the layout of the Regula 2 station design since he had worked on such a station for a while, Serenity had some diffrences but at least it was easy to find the guest quarters Then it was off to the wall of honor and place his blade there as per competition rules The wall of honor was an interesting site with all the different styles of blade, The different alloys reflecting the light in different ways His blade was well made in the Klingon fashion, It was custom fitted to him and was a well balanced weapon, The metal was almost like chrome, the lights danced off of it The tow security guards there make not of who the owner was of that blade, Tucker looks around but does not see the captain of the commander He reitres to his quarters for some rest |
Title: Re: IKS meH'Haj arrives Post by Jim Hunter on Feb 11th, 2006, 5:36pm After having become used to the thick air of Klingon stations and ships in such a short time, Serenity was certainly living up to her name as far as the air went. Once the initial blast of Starfleet freshness was over though, the bustle of the incoming crews distracted Hunter from any thoughts he may have had about clean air. To his surprise, most people he saw weren’t carrying a weapon, and those with either a naked blade or shoulder hoisted sheath were easy to mark out amongst the crowd. His own blade felt heavy as he carried it on his back – it was a loaned gift from one of many drunken warriors he had met in the Klach D’Kel Brakt bar. It was designed for shorter arms than his and so was slightly stubbier than he had become used to whilst training aboard the station, but it was a good weight and he felt comfortable using it, insofar as he hadn’t injured himself in the six days since receiving it. The ex-marine hadn’t attended the tournament expecting to win, and wouldn’t be surprised with a first-round knockout, but competition was addictive and only real combat gave a better rush. With a lack of invading Cardassians, Hunter had decided that the tournament was a good enough reason to travel to the station. That, and Serenity’s bar was known for its wide stock of Earth drinks. |
Title: Re: IKS meH'Haj arrives Post by Ren on Feb 12th, 2006, 11:29pm Doctor Mayson Drake settled down on the shuttle. She read her notes and tuned out chatter. The shuttle docked at the Station and Mayson rose to depart. She made her way on the station, noting people seeking out the hall of honors. She walked on down to get her cabin assignment. Once she had found her cabin and put away her bag. She then made her way to find something to eat and drink. Mayson stepped into a pub and found a table. She ordered hot coffee and a simple salad. Sipping the coffee and sampling the salad. Mayson sat listening to people chatter and converse about tourneys past. This was her first tourney. Except for the times she had witnessed some imprompto challanges. She read up on the tourney when the battle times would be. She sat in the corner watching people enter the pub and depart. Mayson thought about Sokal and Qeinvedra. She wondered if she would run into anyone she knew here? Dismissing the thought as she returned to her medical read. Mayson finally decided which events she would attend. Then put the tourney read away and again picked up her work. |
Title: Re: IKS meH'Haj arrives Post by Veska on Feb 13th, 2006, 3:45pm Veska made the final transition from the meh’Haj onto Serenity base, (she loved security checks…not) and breathed a sigh of relief when she was free and clear (at least as much as any other guest to the station was) to tour the place and get settled. Hopefully it wouldn’t be the last relaxed breath she took… as she really wasn’t looking forward to fighting a war that wasn’t her own, but as Von seemed to have eluded to, there was more to what qul’yIt was having to deal with that met the eye. That appealed to the negotiator and investigator in her. Whoever was right… if either side was… she intended to find out. She continued to follow the crowds to the wall. It was a site to behold. Veska, even though she had mentally prepared herself for the event, the variety of blades, the variety of blade holders… she was still struck with awe…and a little guilt. She had her blade, but it was going to remain on her back. Hopefully Von got the rooming arrangements figured out. Now that they were apparently part of qul’yIt’s entourage, they would need to be close to each other. She scanned the crowd, but didn’t see either of them yet. |
