Title: The man has a point
Post by Grenn on Feb 11th, 2006, 4:39am

Yolen'da and a few others from DS7 and otherwise were standing together during the speech that K`Hare totlh had given.

She turned to the others around her, as she knew everyone would have something to say about what they had just heard. "He's got a point. I'm here to see if anything I've learned is actually applicable in the real world. And to find out what I have to do to make it applicable. Quite honestly, I expect that I'll be taught such things in turn, and with an exclamation point attatched!" she said with a slight grin.

"Jason?" she said to Major T'Shir. "Would you like a chance to knock me off my feet?" she asked with an almost wickid grin.

OFF: If anyone feels like picking this up go ahead. I would have been speaking to those DS7 crew that I know, but its a crowded area :)

"Grenn, I couldn't say no" He equally had a wicked grin "After our last mission, I have a little pent-up aggression"

Rolf listened to his staff converse about the speech that they just herd.  It was inspirational and he was surprised that a Klingon Warrior would say such a thing.

“I don’t know about the two of you, but part of the reason why I entered this tournament was so I can find something that I lost.  I don’t care if I make it to the final round or not as long as I find something that was taken.”

He paused as he was trying to get find the right words. “I’ve lost a piece of myself and I hope I can find it by attending this tournament.”

Rolf didn’t say anything further as he still couldn’t shake what happened to his son.

"We'll find him Sir, I swear we will" It was hard for the Admiral, that Jason new, but to the extent of loosing a son, he'd never know. "Would you like to join Admiral. I could learn alot taking you on after Grenn?"

Jona was near Grenn and the Admiral and decided to enter in on their conversation.  She knew that this tourney was going to be somewhat of an attempt at an emotion reliever for him, as Bowie was gone, as was the Admiral's life.

"Excuse me, Admiral, Colonel, I couldn't help but overhear you, and may I say that you will fight in this tournament, Admiral, FOR your son.  Direct your aggression and anger in that direction, it no doubt will sustain you. You know that the entire crew is behind you in this."

“Thank you all for your kind support.” Rolf said. “Thanks Bettina, I’ll be alright, really I am.  My only favor from all of you is to make sure someone from DS7 makes it past the first round.” Rolf said as he smiled

He then spotted someone he had not seen in months.

“Excuse me, I’ll be right back. There’s someone I want to say hi to.”

He headed for Captain Bremer’s location
