Title: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by Jackie Clawson on Feb 23rd, 2006, 6:45pm <Serenity Base - Promenade> Jackie watched some of the matches, and found this day slightly more boring than the last two had been. if the last two were like a high speed fighter flight, today was just... boring... She stiffled a yawn as she walked along the promenade, looking at some shops but not really seeing anything, the Caitian was mor e lost in thought than she was looking for something. The events of last night were still fresh in her mind. The Caitian would give anything to relive yesterday alone, no matter how painful some moments seemed, she would not trade the day for anything. Jackie smirked lightly as she strode along the promenade; a base definitely felt different to a ship; ship...Jackie looked around, suddenly missing the Horizon and her crew. She wondered how would they welcome her back, how would she re-adjust to things. And how would she adjust to her new Task Force command? at the end of this tournament she would have to go back to 'real life' - and her life had taken a very sudden twist after she met Taylor. Jackie wondered how she would adjust to all of the new changes and how she would use the newly gained experiences here at the tournament to help her with the Horizon and Task Force 58. She's made new friends, a few enemies, apparently too...but Jacakie wasn't worried about that. She was more worried abotu leaving some of the friends behind, not certain when she would see them again. Such was StarFleet life, she hadn't seen Mark in years now, although they talked on subspace a few times a month or a week depending on things, subspace just wasn't the same. Jackie grinned, wondering what Mark would say when he would've found out she competed in the tournament. Jackie shook her head, realising she was standing in the middle of the promenade looking out at nothing in particular as she let her mind wander off.. Jackie mrred under her berath as she headed off to the Lucky Strike bar to see if she could find something to eat. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by AChadwick on Feb 23rd, 2006, 6:53pm Alex had just sat down to lunch in the lucky strike when someone he was hoping to see slowly walked inside. He waved to her as soon as her gaze fell upon his location. He owed her a meal hopefully she would join him.It had been a rough night he pulled another double shift and was hungry for some food and some good company. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by Jackie Clawson on Feb 23rd, 2006, 6:57pm Jackie approached the human. "Small base..Lieutenant...." she remarked. "funny how we constantly keep running into eachother this way, or did sickbay send you to keep tabs on me to make sure I really am okay?" she asked. "or did you take that initiative yourself?" she said, her tone letting him know she wasn't serious. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by AChadwick on Feb 23rd, 2006, 7:05pm All the emotion flushed from alex's face....he grew dead serious. "I'm stalking you of course." Alex held the look on his face as long as he could till finally he started laughing. "Just kidding!please admiral sit! i owe you a meal let me repay my debt." |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by Jackie Clawson on Feb 23rd, 2006, 7:08pm "Stalking, eh... get in line" she grinned, throwing her hand pointing behind her as she took a seat. "please.. don't talk like you owe me something." Jackie said . "I'm sure I owe quite a bit to you too" |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by AChadwick on Feb 23rd, 2006, 7:15pm Alex shook his head. "No im polite. You won our bet.....but.....Who says i can't enjoy losing?" Alex laughed and started to turn a bit red at the inuendo he let slip. "Ahh what i mean is i umm....im just going to shut up now before i make a bigger fool of myself." |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by Jackie Clawson on Feb 23rd, 2006, 7:19pm Jackie chuckled, deciding to dimiss his innuendo as a slip. there wasn't any harm in something like that once in a while, even if she was a Flag Officer now. It didn't mean she had to be all stiff and unfriendly and by the book all the time. "who says I don't enjoy loosing?" jackie asked. "I may be out of the tournament, but I'm hardly down about it" she said. 'And dont' worry about making a foll of yourself" Jackie smiled. " I am sure I've made one of myself on several occasions yesterday alone" she noted. "now.. what's for lunch?" she asked |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by AChadwick on Feb 23rd, 2006, 7:22pm Alex handed the admiral a menu.He flipped his open and began to scan its listing. "Speaking of the tournament you did very well .I bet next year you place in the top 16."Your match with what was his name Tepez?I can never remember klingon names...well anyway it was incredible." |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by Jackie Clawson on Feb 23rd, 2006, 7:27pm Jackie looke dover the manu. "Part of the reason why I didn't do, TOO well was because I wasn't prepared for the event, and I didn't have a proper blade." she said "considering under which circumstances I've arrived here." she said, breifly telling him what she meant. "So you see, I'm lucky to have won three matches" she smiled. "did not expect a deathmatch, but that also proven a few things to me" she added. "Ah yes.. Ta'pez. I'm not sure what happened there, he broke bmy blade, something just went into overdrive in my mind, I'm not sure how exactly I won that match, but...that was quite an experience" she noted. "I've not had a chance to review the match myself, I bet I looked like a derranged furball running around the arena with a betleH" |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by AChadwick on Feb 23rd, 2006, 7:31pm Alex smiled as he remember the way she looked. It was a thrill to see someone of the admiral stature take down a klingon the size of Ta'pez "You looked determined...and dangerous.I knew you would win after he broke your weapon....the look on your face was one of determination i have never seen before." |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by Jackie Clawson on Feb 23rd, 2006, 7:36pm Jackie looked down, slightly embarrased. "Heh.." she noted. "I just kinda lost it there for a little bit. Let the feral in me take over" she paused. "although that was probably more evident in the deathmatch, considering the stakes were considerably... higher" |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by AChadwick on Feb 23rd, 2006, 7:45pm Alex shook his head.He just kept looking at the menu. "Wish i could say i was actually watching you during that match.... i had my eye on who you were fighting." Alex paused not wanting to say he was watching to make sure he didnt kill her. Had his phaser ready to shoot him if he tried to make a killing blow.He tried to change the subject. "So whats next for you after the tournament?Back to your ship?" |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by Jackie Clawson on Feb 23rd, 2006, 7:49pm Jackie raised an eyebrow at that. Wondering why he was watching her opponent instead. "Let me guess, half the crowd bet against me?" she smirked, letting him know she was kidding. She took in a breath. "Next.. yeah probably back to the Horizon and my Task Force. I've yet to meet the staff there, was going to do that when we reached StarBase Bravo, but Mr Taylor had other plans instore for me..." she smiled lightly at that. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by AChadwick on Feb 23rd, 2006, 10:36pm "No i'd say only two thirds of the klingons only bet against you...the rest hoped you'd kick his angry honor filled rear." Alex was relieved she didnt press his actions at the death match. He motioned for the waitress to come over and folded his menu."Yeah i've never envied the admirality and there job."It seems a thankless position." |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by Jackie Clawson on Feb 24th, 2006, 5:30am "I'll be sure to keep that in mind when I start my new...job after I come back from the tournament" she said with a smirk |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by AChadwick on Feb 24th, 2006, 8:38am "You think things will look different to you once your back?I mean now that you've had a little time to actually think about whats happened for you recently?" Alex looked up from his glass of water at the admiral. "Sorry if i seem like im prying.Just curious and ive never had an admiral's ear like this before. Not even my boss." |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by Jackie Clawson on Feb 24th, 2006, 9:00am Jackie shrugged. "I don't know..things change... Once I'm back..." Jackie shook her head. "This has been quite an experience for me so far. It ah...brought back a few things. Not to mention woke up a few since my days aboard the Rayden" she smirked. "you've seen a demo of that two days ago. I don't get to do that very often" she said as she waved off his apology about prying |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by AChadwick on Feb 24th, 2006, 9:44am "Well i wish you the best of luck admiral."You treat your people half as nice as you've been to me and you'll have an army of zealots asap" Alex laughed he genuinely liked this admiral. He like admiral jefferson as well but that was diffierent it was more a "Boys club" kinda thing he was polite to alex and seemed to value him as an officer but there was something just under the surface with the man that alex could figure out. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by Jackie Clawson on Feb 24th, 2006, 10:07am Jackie chuckled. "Zealots.. gosh.. that would be the last thing I'd want" Jackie said, considering how she preferred to keep a lower profile for starters. "they might not be easy to control sometimes. especially the over zealous types. Loyalty is one thing though." she said. "Zealots... it kind of goes down the wrong track when they try to kill you in the end" she smirked. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by AChadwick on Feb 25th, 2006, 12:34am Alex smiled at the admirals joke.He suddenly had the urge to be somewhere else....just like last night ...It wasn't that he was uncomfortable or didnt want to be in the admirals company far from it he liked her quite a bit....he tried to think back to what he had done after he left the lucky strike that night and came to the realization he couldnt remember anything untill almost the time he entered here.......He shook his head and noticed he had been stareing at the admiral she just sat there with one eyebrow raised wondering what he was doing.Alex started to turn red again. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by Jackie Clawson on Feb 25th, 2006, 4:35pm "Problem, Lieutenant?" Jackie asked raising an eyebrow a bit when he started to turn red. She shifted slightly in her seat, before calling out for a tripple shot of raktajino. His stare seemed familiar to Jackie, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it; it was a look some of her security officers had given her back on the Rayden years ago; it was also a look a number of other humans had given her in the past. She couldn't quite figure it out sometimes, since it varied from one human to another, at least to her it did. Even after decades of serving with humans, Jackie had yet to figure them out fully. She suspected she never would. "What's on your mind?" she asked him, pausing to take a sip of the drink, instantly a smile lit up her face as the caffeine entered her system. The past days of drinking more bloodwine than coffee or raktajino made her miss the taste of the drink much more than she thought she missed it. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by KVok on Feb 25th, 2006, 4:55pm K'Vok moved up from behind, his shadow falling over the kitty, Admiral Clawson. It was time. He even had a little bit of poetry he could read off after he dragged her away. "be', I wish to talk to you." |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by AChadwick on Feb 25th, 2006, 7:15pm Alex looked up and scowled.Who the hell was this now?and what could he possibly have to talk to the admiral about.Alex held back and waited for the admiral to speak. He picked up his drink and took a slow sip never taking his eyes off the person. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by Jackie Clawson on Feb 25th, 2006, 10:03pm Jackie looked over, facing K'Vok. Her smile instantly dissapeared and was replaced by a stern look as she his her true feelings. Her mind flahsed back to the conversation with K'Hare and the rest during Lunch the other day , and suddenly the Caitian felt she was in a very tight spot. The next few moments, and what she'll say next could turn out either good or really ugly. Jackie decided it was best to let him talk first. "K'Vok...." she began, then gave him a curt nod letting him know he can talk here. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by KVok on Feb 26th, 2006, 2:05am "You initiated courting two nights ago by the throwing of an object, through yesterdays actions you have proved yourself a worthy mate." K'Vok smiled ferally, his blood rushing through his veins pounding at his head behind his eyes. He had been unable to sleep, and distracted, thinking about her all night long. He had also been thinking about her during his fight with the dishonourable petaQ Wolfe. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by Jackie Clawson on Feb 26th, 2006, 8:12am Jackie gave K'Vok a hard stare, 'hang on isn't that supposed to be the other way around you bozo? I'm supposed to be testing you' Jackie thought recalling yesterday's 'conversation' with K'Hare, but bit back expressing that thought outloud. She threw a quick glance around the room, half hoping to see K'Hare there, or toreQ...the Caitian didn't think she should be the one teaching K'Vok his own ways, considering she herself barely knew the situation fully. "Yesterday's actions...?" Jackie trailed off. "I was a competitor in the betleH tournament; my actions yesterday had nothing to do with proving myself as a mate to anybody" she said, keeping her tone calm as K'Vok smiled at her in a way that made the Caitian wonder how she was going to get out of this situation in one piece. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by AChadwick on Feb 26th, 2006, 8:40am Alex had enough. He looked up at the stranger and set his glass down.He spoke in a slow deliberate tone so he would understand clearly. "Listen friend the admiral and i were trying to have a nice conversation and enjoy a much needed lunch."It looks like she doesn't like you how you think she does. And didnt initiate anything"So for your sake her's and everybodys else in the bar turn around leave and go practice growling or looking distant and aloof or whatever it is you people enjoy doing for fun ok?" |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by Jackie Clawson on Feb 26th, 2006, 8:43am Jackie threw a quick alarmed look at Chadwick. 'so much for handling it in a diplomatic way....' she thought to herself |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by MorloQ on Feb 26th, 2006, 11:16am MorloQ entered just in time to hear Chadwick's words to K'Vok. The weHwI' pilot walked over to his CO's bodyguard and stopped behind the shorter warrior. "Problem here?" he said, scowling at Chadwick. Without looking at K'Vok he said firmly. "If this one needs removing from your equation, just let me know. This is the dog that insulted poQ." |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by AChadwick on Feb 26th, 2006, 11:22am Alex frowned. He was starting to really really hate klingons even more than he used to. "Well FRIEND as i was telling my good man here the admiral doesn't wish to keep his company. And unless he moves along he and now YOU will have a nice long tour of my brig.Especially if you open your mouth and make another threat against me again." Alex stood and pointed toward the door his right hand resting on his phaser. "I would leave......now" |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by Jackie Clawson on Feb 26th, 2006, 11:29am Jackie let out a slow sigh, clenching and unclenching her fists for a moment. She glanced at Chadwick, this certainly hadn't gone on well so far, but on the other hand, it did sort of divert the attention from the mating thing. "Okay, that is enough..." She said, looking intently at K'Vok and at the newcomer. The Caitian stood up, her tail flickering from side to side showing her annoyance, as the Admiral looked at the two Klingons. "I don't need men to fight my battles" she spoke in a clipped tone, her tongue clicking against her teeth before she briefly exposed her fangs. "nor do I need junior officers fighting over me" she added, fighting hard to keep her temper in check, the only indication that she was getting more than just slightly annoyed now was the flash in her eyes as she said the last words. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by MorloQ on Feb 26th, 2006, 1:42pm "At no point did I intend to get involved in anything between you and K'Vok, Admiral. The matter is between you two. It just seems the Lieutenant does not realise that he has once again overstepped himself." he smiled at Clawson, it was not a charming sight. "He clearly has no respect for your authority and is sadly quite cowardly, hiding as he does behind his phaser." he looked at Chadwick. "You have no ide what a threat is, terrangan." again he smiled. "Come to KDB sometime when the meH'Haj is there. You will be most... welcome." |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by Jackie Clawson on Feb 26th, 2006, 3:20pm Jackie raised an eyebrow. "Then why are *you* interfering?" She snapped, "who invited you into this conversation at all? Mr Chadwick was here with me when K'Vok approached. What attracted you over here?" She paused, her eyes narrowing as the Klingon spoke the last phrase "I wouldn't threaten this base's security if I were you, else I will personally throw your butt onto the meH'Haj for the duration of this tournament and let K'Hare deal with you." she commented, flashing her fangs in anger as she spoke. "I am sure K'Hare totlh would not appreciate you threatening the crew of Serenity Base, the hosts of this event, in any manner during your stay here." she said. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by MorloQ on Feb 26th, 2006, 6:15pm "I merely asked K'Vok to tell me if he required the Security person removed from this equation. That is not a threat, its simply offering to be called upon if required." He shrugged. "I assume my pointing out that he is a coward and is always cowering behins a phaser is not considered a threat. It is simply an observation, one that can hardly be refuted as he is indeed currently doing so." "The federation really do not understand what a threat is, so far I have issued none." "As for the totlh, he is not my CO. Ta'pez is. But as I have not threatened anyone there is nothing he will do. I must transgress before I can be punished." He smiled, it was never an attractive sight. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by KVok on Feb 26th, 2006, 10:15pm "ENOUGH!" K'Vok bellowed, slamming a fist down on the table with great force. "MorloQ, I will deal with this coward myself if he tries to interfere again. Unless he wants to prove himself to the be'..." The half-breed growled, "In which case he can challenge me now." K'Vok gave Chadwick a serious look with his wild, manical eyes before he looked over to kitty. "Your actions yesterday proved that you were an honourable warrior, and a veracious fighter, qualities worthy of a mate." K'Vok said, looking over her again, that eerie smile coming up again. He was a little confused, though. Why wasn't she happy about this, she has started it. Bah, playing hard to get. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by satian on Feb 26th, 2006, 11:04pm after changing into his starfleet uniform Satian entered the resturant and the first thing he noticed was the small group in intence conversation at the other end of the room. the human did not seem to be happy to see the 2 klingons and the Admiral just looked ..displeased. but it was no bussness of his. deciding to have a light lunch Satian ordered a salid and a glass of water and with the detached way of his mother's people sat back to see what would happen next. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by Jackie Clawson on Feb 27th, 2006, 2:44am "Then perhaps I need to speak to Ta'pez about you two" she said as KVok began speaking about her actions yesterday. Jackie slapped her forehead, resisting the urge to repeat her mistake two nights ago, or do something worse. She let out a growl in frustration. “K’Vok…if you knew anything about Klingon mating rituals, I’m not the one who has to prove myself a worthy mate.” The Caitian said, “nor do I think I have to do that. Mr Chadwick does not need to prove himself to me either” "I don't need men to fight my battles, nor do I need men to fight over me" she snapped, letting out a low growl at that. She fought back the urge to even attempt to fight either of the Klingons or say anything that might make the situation worse that it was already turning out to be. “Mr Chadwick…” she started, then nodded her head towards the door meaning for him to follow her cue before speaking again. Thens he pointed a clawed hand at the two Klingons, “when you boys are done playing your childish games, let me know.” she said her tone low, yet deadly serious. With that the Caitian strode out of the bar with a quick and confident walk fighting the urge to punch something as she kept her fists clenched. OFF: She be not a happy kitty now.. and a not a happy kitty, turns into a killer kitty soon enough if provoked more |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by KVok on Feb 27th, 2006, 2:55am K'Vok growled and followed the two, approaching the woman quickly. "The man has as much right to test as the be'." He grabbed her arm and spun her around, pulling her close. "You started this, kitten." |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by MorloQ on Feb 27th, 2006, 5:10am MorloQ nodded to the comments K'Vok made about dealing with thev coward himself. Certainly he was able enough. He smiled again at Chadwick and gave a slight bow to the Admiral as he walked away. He saw Satian watching. "Ah, Satian, a true warrior here among many showmen. Can I buy you a drink?" |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by AChadwick on Feb 27th, 2006, 6:18am Alex scowled as K'Vok grabbed the admiral. He drew his phaser and pointed it at K'Vok's head as he reached into his boot and pulled out an older smaller type one cricket phaser and activated it in case anyone else had any ideas in the bar. =/\=Chadwick to promenade security all teams to the lucky strike...=/\= He pressed the phaser hard into the back of K'Vok's head. "Get your filthy hands off of the admiral..............now." Alex turned the setting of the phaser up to heavy stun and released the safety. If his finger left the button it would fire. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by Jackie Clawson on Feb 27th, 2006, 10:09am Jackie let out a yelp of surprise as he spun her around and pulled her close, letting instinct kick in the Caitian let out a growl before as her eyes flashed pure rage as she forcefully tried pushing him away and getting out of his grasp, but the half breed had a strong hold on her arm still. "Do not call me 'kitty'" Jackie said, her tone dangerously low as her eyes met K'Vok's making his heart race faster for a moment. Jackie revealed her fangs, letting out a growl as she brought her foot down onto his with force. "That's Clawson totlh to you, K'vok ne'" she spoke, her eyes showing the rage she felt inside. jackie was about to do something else, but that was the moment Chadwick pressed the phaser hard into the back of K'Vok's head. Jackie froze, silently glaring at the Klingon holding her. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by KVok on Feb 27th, 2006, 1:24pm K'Vok moved closer to her, ignoring the phaser. "That's Admiral Clawson, you are not a member of the Klingon Defence Force." The half-breed corrected, "Finish the job, Clawson." Then another jab in the back of the head with the phaser and he turned and sauntered off. He'd be back, though, to finish this, when her pet terran wasn't around. That much she could count on. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by Jackie Clawson on Feb 27th, 2006, 1:31pm Jackie blinked, rubbing at her arm where K'Vok had held her. "How about I finish you?" she muttered under her breath, letting a low growl escape her lips as she watched him saunter off. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by AChadwick on Feb 27th, 2006, 2:15pm Alex sighed as he holstered his weapon. He waved his security teams off as they entered the lucky strike. He looked at the admiral and frowned. This wasn't his day.K'vok was dangerously insane like most of the klingons wandering the station.Alex would need to be aware of what he was going to do and should have someone watch the admiral's movements just to be sure. "Sorry admiral that escalated almost out of control far to quickly." |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by Jackie Clawson on Feb 27th, 2006, 2:21pm Jackie waved it off as she took a breath in to regain control of herself. "Could've been worse, Lieutenant." she spoke in a leveled tone, her gut telling her that it wasn't over yet and that things just barely began. "Last thing I need is to be known for starting bar fights everytime I enter a bar around here" Jackie chuckled lightly in an attempt to break the tension and forget what just happened, or at least have Chadwick forget what just happened. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by AChadwick on Feb 27th, 2006, 2:26pm Alex smiled. He held something in the palm of his hand as he held it out to clawson. "sorry again if i caused you any trouble."The admiral grasped his hand and alex winked as he shook it. Make sure if he should bother you again you do not hesitate to use any means at your disposal to persuade him to leave you alone."alex smiled and watched as the admiral closed her hand into a fist."Any means available admiral." |

Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by Jackie Clawson on Feb 28th, 2006, 10:56am Jackie gave Chadwick a knowing smile. "Careful of what you say Lieutenant, else I might end up fighting another deathmatch" she chuckled lightly as her hand moved to her side. "I have my own ways of dealing with things, you should know that by now" She chuckled a little. "but thanks." she said flashing him a smile. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by AChadwick on Feb 28th, 2006, 11:01am Alex smiled back and was about to say something when two people walking by caught his attention.....a starfleet captain and a young woman. He looked back at the admiral and gave her a quick nod."If you'll pardon me now admiral something important just came up.If you should need anything else or any assistance .......you know where and who to call." And with that alex quickly exited the lucky strike. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by Jackie Clawson on Feb 28th, 2006, 11:28am Jackie watched Chadwick rush off yet again. 'strange.. second time he does that' she noted to herself. Jackie shrugged lightly, before slipping out of the Lukcy Strike and making a dash for her quarters before K'Vok found her again. |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by MorloQ on Feb 28th, 2006, 3:35pm MorloQ sat at the seat indicated. He wasn't perfectly happy with how he'd handled the incident behind him. What would have satisfied him was beating the fool Chadwick to a state of unconciousness. Maybe he would get a chance somewhere along the line. "My money is riding on you through every round. But I've avoided those Ferengi so far. there is a Federation Ensign running his own book. Better odds on you there." |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by satian on Feb 28th, 2006, 8:56pm I thank you for you confidance in my abilities. Now if you dont mind me being so bold, what seems to be your problem with Mr. Chadwick? |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by MorloQ on Mar 1st, 2006, 8:59pm MorloQ grunted. "He is a coward for one thing. He has used a phaser more than once on Klingons. In some cases on ones not trying to get friendly with admirals." He said with a grin. "He insulted both poQ Duy'a' and K'Trol yejquvqup." he continued. "High Councilor K'Trol! A mere Lieutenant insulted him as he was trying to find out why Ambassador poQ was in the Brig. diplomatic Immunity means poQ shouldn't have been there." He tapped his meH'haj symbol. "I serve Ta'pez. poQ is of the cheng. K'Trol is a member of the High Council. How can i not have a problem?" "Add to that he was threatening K'Vok as I entered. K'Vok was engaged in a legitimate pursuit. The Admiral is more than capable of accepting or rejecting K'Vok. It was no place for a Human male to interfere." |
Title: Re: All roads lead to Lucky Strike... Post by satian on Mar 1st, 2006, 11:18pm Satian nodded his head, I have no love for House Chang but i have no hatered for them eather, as for K'Vok i dont trust him, he is not stable. in eather case that is there bussness not mine. As for the human interfering with K'Vok's personal bussness It is quite clear he has something for her as well. So i beleve he may not be using his brain. The phaser, now there is a good reason to dislike the man. So well i may not agree on the first 2 reasons I can not agure with the last. for his dealing with High Councilor K'Trol and Anbassador poQ we can rest asured that the last has not been heard about that. But enough about this, let us have that drink, I have no dought that i will need it as i face Qol this afternoon and experance tells me she will not be gentle |

"You are right though. Let them be as they will. Drink, watch the speed she brings in the backsweep, it fools many unwary opponents..." |
