Title: Hello Room-Mate Post by qul`yIt on Feb 26th, 2006, 8:15pm It was late once more, and once more he wasn't quite sober, despite what had occurred last time he had tried make it to quarter's Drunk. He had never really made it to quarter's in fact, having passed out from to much Romulan Ale in Satian's quarters. He fortunately wasn't quite as out of it as he was last time. He got turned around a few times... he couldn't read federation standard and he wasn't entirely sure what the numbers had looked like. He finally arrived at what he believe was his room and entered... K'Vok was already in his quarters, he looked at his roommate, who he hadn't seen last night. "I assume you are my roommate." qul'yIt studied the Half Breed and then grunted rudely as he entered and headed towards one bed. The flame tattooed Klingon sat on the bed and leaned against the wall. Being untrusting and somewhat paranoid of strangers he would not let himself sleep in the other's company. Keeping a careful watch on the other. "Introduce yourself." He muttered "K'Vok ne', of the House of cheng. And yourself?" K'Vok asked, feeling restless as he looked around. He also felt a little feverish. "qul'yIt lagh, My house is of no concern." He said gutturally. His name in Klingon meant firewalker, which fit how he appeared, with 60 percent of his body covered in tattooed burn scars, elaborate designs of flames that had optical illusion of being alive. "Very well, I personally feel houses are for the birds anyway." He poured a glass of Bloodwine and downed it. qul'yIt removed everything from the waist up. He hated wearing armor when it was not necessary. As piece by piece of armor was removed... licks of tattooed flames where shown from the hands, around the arms, and covering his entire back and most of his torso... all of it done on burn scars. After all the ink had been laid in his still healing skin when he had been healing from them. "I am an Outcast in my House, most of them I could call my enemy." He spat. Seeing the bloodwine he grabbed the bottle and took a drink, before handing it back. K'Vok grabbed the bottle, "Buy your own bottle!" "I don't have money, I work for my drinks." He growled as he returned to his bed, the fresh burn on side of his face making his scowl deeper. "Don't you get paid?" qul'yIt snorted, "By who?" "Klingon Defense Force?" qul'yIt shrugged, "I never get it. My House does." "Least not much. " He said. He then realized he was being to easy on K'Vok and snarled, "What is it your business anyways!" The change was dramatic.. from calm to snappy. K'Vok shrugged, "It's not. I was just curious." He took a swig from the bloodwine. Then he went ahead and threw the bottle to qul'yIt. He was feeling a little weird. For someone who had been drinking, qul'yIt caught the bottle easily with a speed that caused the tattoos on his arm to have the illusion of blazing between point where his arm was. "Funny trick your arms do..." qul'yIt glared at K'vok with piercing eyes, "What do you mean?" He snapped. "The tattoos...odd optical illusion." qul'yIt glared at K'vok again. Of course he knew the illusion they tended to have, but few ever dared to say anything about them. "Yes... They where well done..." He said, almost calmer, though his look was one of suspicion. "Are you Romulan or Vulcan?" He asked bluntly, trying figure what the other Half of the Klingon Half-breed was. "I am Klingon." K'Vok snapped, "My father was Vulcan." "Good! I would rather not room with the son of a petaQ!" He spat as he glared at the Half Klingon... meeting the other's eyes. "How Klingon?" "Half Klingon." "No, how Klingon is your heart! Fool!" qul'yIt snarled, his patience short. K'Vok stood, "HOW KLINGON DO YOU THINK?!" qul'yIt stood as well, "You are not Klingon! Your the bastard son of a Vulcan 'Peacekeeper'!" He spat, baiting the Klingon/Vulcan with an insult. K'Vok responded by punching qul'yIt in the jaw squarely. "I AM KLINGON!" qul'yIt had expected the blow and dodged it quickly, sending his head up, slamming his forecreast into K'Vok's face. The half-breed pulled back, reducing the blow, then he grabbed qul'yIt by the arms and spun him around, slammed him into a bulkhead. qul'yIt showed no indication of the pain he was in as he quickly picked himself up and send first a punch in the face and then a head butt in the chest to his opponent... they traded several blows before qul'yIt slammed his fore crest into the other's head hard enough to make them both dazed. K'Vok leaned back, shaking his head, then he moved forward again, punching at qul'yIt again. He was going to get the man. qul'yIt caught the Half Klingons wrist with a quick speed had it twisted behind K'vok's back tightly... A terrible Sound coming from qul'yIt a moment after, a sound that after a moment would be realized to be laughter. K'Vok pulled his arm down using his superior strength, twisting his body as he did. His shoulder wrenched slightly as he twisted free, twirling as he punched qul'yIt in the jaw, this time connecting. "Why were you laughing?!" qul'yIt sat back dabbing a split lip but not making nay other attack. "Because, you did well Klingon." He spat out a bit of blood. The burn on the side of his face had also split and was bleeding but he didn't seem to mind. K'Vok growled, "I am Klingon." "Agreed," qul'yIt said as he got up and pulled out a bottle of Chech'tluth. He handed it over to K'vok first. He has said he didn't have money before, however he didn't say he didn't have another drink. K'Vok looked at the bottle, then grabbed it, taking a big swig. "What how did you do in the tournament?" "I didn't fight." He said simply as he grabbed the bottle back, taking a heavy drink himself before setting it out for the other again. "Why not?" "I had other things on mind." qul'yIt shrugged, ignoring the pain that came with a freshly broken rib. "Your fight?" "Yes, and I fight tomorrow." "Good. Who against?" He took another heavy drink and shoved it under K'vok's nose for him to take. K'Vok threw it back again, "The unhonorable petaQ Admiral Wolfe." "Never heard of him." He responded as he belched and got up to go back to the bed, leaving the bottle in K'vok's Hands. K'Vok took another swig, "He fights with nothing but dishonor...he needs to be killed and have someone take his position, but since he is an Admiral in the pathetic Federation..." "Kill him!" qul'yIt said with a shrug as he laid on the bed. "Can I trust you to watch my back here?" "What? Do I look like a Romulan to you?" "No, you appear as Klingon who's Honor has been insulted." qul'yIt said. "Will you watch my back? Take first watch?" K'Vok grunted, "I will wake you in a few hours." "Word of Honor?" He requested as he turned, exposing his heavily scarred and tattooed back... which have others scars overlaying, some whip marks from his time as a POW during war. The half-breed growled, "My word IS my honor." "Good..." He said tiredly as he allowed himself to slip into light sleep. JP K'Vok ne' ra'wI's kr'tach IKS meH'Haj & |
