Several minutes passed in silence after the Klingons left, John was wordless as he looked at the now empty doorway. Eventually he turned to his security officers and smiled.

Klingons, sorry for that. A public dressing down was the only way to placate them" He pulled out a seat from under Chadwick's desk and sat himself down "If it had been me I would have shot much quicker than you Ensign Johson"
Johnson's eyes widened as his brain screamed 'Oh god the Vice Admiral knows who I am!'
"I don't care if poQ is Ambassador to Q himself, he should have presented himself to me upon arrival. Not the other way round."
