Off: Sorry for the long time between posts still having internet probs  Angry

On: Valkris looked at T'shir as he introduced himself in full "LT Cmdr Valkris XO of the crippled USS Halifax now based at KDB, pleased to meet you. (handing him a full tankard) Let us drink to our meeting and possible friendship.

She had just passed the tankard over to T'shir when qul'yIt shouldered into her as he passed by the walked straight into QolavraH, Valkris just laughed at his attemp to draw her attention to him or just to anger her she was in to good a mood to care what he thought right now.  He had made it clear that even after telling her that he acepted her for how she was not who she was connected to he had walked out on her once he knew her mothers house, she had kept her word to him and kept thier relationship quiet but she would not let him get away with such a blatent insult a second time.  But for now it was not worth the hassle.

"Still looking for a fight to pick with someone?" Jackie asked, chuckling lightly as she watched the Klingon. "You can always try picking one with me, but I don't know if I'm not gonna end up sending the wrong signals again." she said, trying hard not to laugh; she took a swig of her bloodwine whilst trying to contain herself from laughing as she remembered the Lunch earlier on.

Qa'taraH strode into the bar, looking around for anyone familiar, especially her ... target, she could've sworn she'd seen him walk in there. And surely enough there he was talking to a Caitian. Qa'taraH wondered why he was wasting his time like that, she noticed Q'olavraH as the Klingon be' leapt over the bar to get herself a bigger container.

Ordering a tankard of bloodwine, the Klingon glanced around once more before making her way to Q'olavraH to join her.

Q'ol heard her before she saw her.  The determined, light stride could only mean a female Klingon, so she turned and grinned when she saw Qa'taraH.

"Ah!  You found me.  I will introduce you to K'Hare.. he is looking for someone to fight with, maybe you can oblige him!"  she laughed at her joke, knowing that K'Hare wanted a verbal battle with one of the 'weaker' species.

She motioned to K'Hare, interrupting his conversation with Jackie.  "K'Hare, Jackie, this is Qa'taraH.  I met her yesterday."

Introductions finished she dipped her mug in K'Hare's barrel again and took a slurping sip of her bloodwine.

"You are not that hard to miss Q'olavrah la'" The Klingon be' nodded, she let out a laugh as Q'olavraH mentioned K'Hare looking for a fight.

"I would be ... happy to oblige him" she smiled a feral-ish grin as Q'olavraH introduced her to K'Hare.

For the past few years the Klingon had only seen him from a distance, never spoken to him face to face as she was unsure how to make it happen until she met Q'olavraH.

"K'Hare totlh" Qa'taraH nodded both at him and the Caitian female. She observed him for a moment, now that she was closer.

qul'yIt had been tempted to take up the challenge K'Hare gave.   However he had alrready done enough damage and he sensed that a challenge with him would probably not be welcome.  Instead he got up and Joined Satian's side.  "You did not have to do that."  He said just in hearing range of Satian's sharp ears, "And it seems the effort was wasted."  He said with a Gutteral growl.

Did you not get the answer to your question?  you paid for information and recived it. Then speeking a little louder. If K'hare needs a drink to lossen his tounge instead of answering a direct question then so be it. Some need a little something to  speek in public. and if it proves they are blowing hot air they can blame it on the drink.

qul'yIt muttered to himself as Satian spoke up loud enough for the others to hear.  "I got my answer, but to the wrong question... "  He said.   Seeing that there was no turning back, he took the events in stride.

The drink allowed him to let loose a bit as he spoke directly to K'Hare, but his look said Q'ol was part in this as well.  "I am willing to make a deal.  I will give you my respect and Loyalty in service, as well as 3 barrels of bloodwine...  If you will accept an 'Honorable' challenge to Combat, and test me in the ways of the Klingon warrior."

<Hope this ok.. finaly got him say what wanted in first place>

K'Hare nodded at the new arrival.   Her hair had a reddish tint that seemed familiar.  "Qa'taraH, have a drink," he turned, grabbed an empty tankard next to his keg and filled, and talking over his shoulder, "I know I have seen you around.  Not just here, but on KDB, or maybe at another one of these tourneys."  He turned back and handed her the tankard.  "Have a drink and tell us of your battles."

She was quite striking and he was sure he had seen her before.  She exuded an impressive confidence that hinted at some sort of command.  Perhaps she was an officer looking for a permanent assignment... but he thought more likely she commanded some small House vessel.

Before she could answer Satian and qul'yIt spoke up.  He almost went into his rant about mongrels and then remembered his own embaressment.  He surprised himself forgetting it so often.  But qul'yIt gave him an excuse to ignore the half vulcan.  "qul'yIt, I would happily accept a chance to spar but I had other plans for tonight, a different sort of combat.  Perhaps later if things remain slow or I could be convinced to oblidge you sooner if the room demands it.  But first, let us meet this warrior."

"Understand, sir."  The acceptance of sorts was enough to suit him as he looked to the be' and tried not to gawk.  The be' to his eyes was of remarkable strength and beauty.   For a moment he did his best to not stare, and then remembering Valkris he allowed some to show threw.   However not for long as bile seemed to climb his throat for what he was doing to Valkris.  He looked away to the bottom of his tankard as he emptied it.

Depite his anger towards her, he couldn't bare to hurt her in that way.  What had he become?  His heart beat out of his chest everytime he was near her.  She had melted right threw the wall of fire he had built and stood un-defeated so long.  So far she seemed to have kept their relationship secrete, but qul'yIt unwittingly threatened to break the very deal he had asked for.    qul'yIt looked for more to drink...

As valkris and T'shir sat drinking the barrel he had just brought she could not help but notice the looks that qul'yIt was giving the be' that had just entered the bar.  At first she was angry at his blatent disreguard for her feelings when she noticed that he was no longer staring at her but rather at the bottom of his tankard, she thought his recent behavior was slightly out of character even for him it was almost as if he did still care for her.  She thought to her self that if he was not careful he was going to end up dead or seriously injuredfor doing something really stupid, she stopped staring at him and concentrated on her drinking partner as she did not wish to insult him by ignoring him.

(snip)
ON:

**Lucky Strike**

He had tried to get to the right bar as Tycho had not been to one of these tournaments.  He had seened to it that their things had been put in the their quarters before he even started to look for the bar.

Which was more harder than he thought as just trying to get through the crowds was hard.  But he was able to find the bar once more but was surprised to find that Jade was all ready there.

Sneaking up behind her, he wrapped his arms around her as he kissed her cheek.  "You know trying to find this place is a lot harder than someone can think.

OFF:  Tag Jade

(End Snip)

Jade was just about to order another tankard when she felt the arms go round her and stiffend slightly then came the kiss.  She instantly melted into his arms her bad mood calming almost instantly, so you found the place at last i was begining to think that you had gone off with the boss and Ro and left me here all alone with all these strange men.

So just where have you been all this time i have been trying to find you for the last 2hrs.

She took the tankard from him and shown him a hint of a smile.

"Yes, I was present at the last year's tournament." she said, fixing K'Hare with a look now that she was finally a lot closer to him than she was in the past. She held up the tankard briefly before taking a gulp of the bloodwine. "I am sure we have....crossed paths before" she spoke.

She smiled fiercely at the mention of battles and the chance to tell a story or two; but the smile turned into a frown and a hard stare as qul'ylt and Satian spoke up; she threw the two males a displeased glare, wondering if sometimes males who could talk like that should have their vocal cords cut out to keep them in line.

She  sat and drank her bloodwine as K'Hare put the two males into their rightful places. Qa'taraH smiled, K'Hare looked like he knew what a be' needed sometimes.

"I have my own ship now" Qa'taraH spoke.

K'Hare nodded understanding.  He knew she wasn't in command of a KDF ship in the KDB area of space or he would have seen files on her.  And her armor didn't have rank insignia (even though the avatar does) so she must have command of a House ship or an independant one.  His guess, from her manner and lack of insignia was that she was a private frighter captain.

"So, you are here for the tournament or on business?"

"Business brought me here last time, but I decided to stay around and observe the tournament" Qa'taraH replied, pausing to take a swig of her bloodwine before continuing. "Last year I delivered the bloodwine for the tournament as it was my...duty at the time." she said with a slight sneer.

"This year, I arranged to have the freighter specifically so I can do the run from KDB to this base so I can then stay and watch the tournament" The Klingon be' said. "It is safe to say I am here for the tournament and business" she said 'and maybe a bit more than that...' her slight sneer was covered up as she took a swig of the bloodwine out of her tankard.
